Seriously, who does pick it? Because to be fair, every manager, pundit, commentator and even opposing fans drool at how good he is. Neil Warnock said, "Silva is on another planet". I am staggered he didn't win it, the way he's been playing.

That's not entirely true. Outside the three clubs in this country where the fans have their heads up their own arses and think everyone outside them is a joke, everyone appreciates David Silva. Right now? Yes, quite possibly.
On here a couple of months ago when Pellers won it one blue said he had been to the event where a load of Jornos, FA, PL reps etc get together for a big piss up and meal to vote on it.
