David Silva new appearance record for MCFC

Appearance record for what? Spanish players playing in England?
A long way to go to trump Alan Oaks City Appearance record of 564.
I guess David might get their if he's still playing for us in his 40s.
David Silva Record:
Valencia B 16
Eibar (loan) 35
Celta (loan) 34
Valencia 119
Manchester City 266
Premier League appearances for City.

Was having a browse of the BM history section earlier, and noticed that Dave needs 1 more appearance to break City's all time European appearance record. Currently tied at 62 appearance's with Joe Hart.

Oh right. An irrelevant record that came into being when football was invented in 1992.
Yes pretty much.

When the media was going mad for Jamie Vardy breaking the goals-in-consecutive-games record they seemed to ignore Jimmy Dunne ever existed.

Dunne wasn’t mentioned once. Not by Sky, BT, BBC, any of the press or national radio...

David Silva our beloved Magician will set a new record of 267 PL appearances for City in his next PL appearance.

Will it be against the Wolves or will he be rested?

David, thanks for gracing this Club you have delivered on all I thought you were capable of and more. You still have more in the tank so I look forward to being mesmerised again and again. Still time for a few more trophies too!
Who holds the record? Hart? Micah? Whilst a milestone for some, it is a load of PL bollocks.... it is total league games that I worry about not what happened solely after 1992

Seeing as it's highly unlikely these days that anyone is going to get the 15 years without missing a single league game that it would take to overtake Alan Oakes, I'd say it's a perfectly reasonable record to have.
