Everyone has different opinions but I think Silva is the best player in the world at the moment, even above Messi and Ronaldo.

The reason I say that is because not only is he technically brilliant but he's also a team player, he makes other players around him play with so much more confidence and they make different, more ambitious runs off the ball when he's in possession because they trust him. He's not only successful in domestic football but international football too.

Silva is, by some distance, the best player ever to play for City. He got a standing ovation from the home fans when we played at Real Madrid. That says it all. I am amazed we have been able to hang onto him for so long as he is worshipped in Spain.

Im not surprised we have been able to hang on to him as he is from Gran Canaria not Spain .The trouble is , if you play for one of the big Spanish teams , one half of the country loves you and the other half hates you . If he stays here and plays for Spain they will all love him But I guess he would probably like to play there one day .

I like him more and more with each passing day which is getting pretty hard to do, as I already think hes a god. Humble, quiet, true professional, and probably the best player to ever wear the City shirt. So consistent, 8/10s every match with the occasional 10, and never causes a stir.
