Hope everyone is as forgiving if we don't get a result at Swansea....not sure what the club policy is re players attending games with bans but I always remember McNab always got NYE off.

I will wager he knew he was due to miss the game anyway through rotation and took his 1 match ban to get it out of the way ;-)

someone could help me here, because he got his booking b4 the 1st of jan, I think that his or any other player who got to 5 yellow cards instead of been reset, they will carry on to 9 cards and then will get a 2 match ban,

Great comparison. David Silva - in the opinion of some our greatest ever player - and Neil McNab!

As a number of Blues have said, David snuffed out a dangerous Palace counter attack with a clever foul. You deserve a game off Dave.

I think that if you got your fifth yellow card (or a red card) before NYD, you serve whatever ban is coming. The slate is wiped clean at midnight on 31/12, to the best of my knowledge.
