someone could help me here, because he got his booking b4 the 1st of jan, I think that his or any other player who got to 5 yellow cards instead of been reset, they will carry on to 9 cards and then will get a 2 match ban,
I think that if you got your fifth yellow card (or a red card) before NYD, you serve whatever ban is coming. The slate is wiped clean at midnight on 31/12, to the best of my knowledge.

On a related issue, have we had anyone serve a ban yet this season? Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone. No red cards yet;
