Claudio Reyna has said David Villa will not be loaned out to Manchester City, but will play somewhere.

I presume villa will join city on a short term loan instead of doing fuck all for a year?

How would it be a short term loan if it would, in your words, equate to a year?..

Well the mls season starts in march, so I just meant a loan until around January and then meet up with the nycfc squad for their pre season games.

He'll be off somewhere before the MLS season as Reyna has just confirmed that, just not us. Maybe just straight back to Atletico or even Valencia.

But it would be just 5/6 months rather than a year tbf

Does anyone know how new MLS franchises get the rest of their players. How are the vast majority of players signed. Are they picked from a draft, do fees need to be paid?

I hate myself for moving to California now.......I could have season tickets to NYCFC for when they start playing in 2015 but noooooooo my wife and I are moving..... Side note will Villa be loaned to MCFC as cover for our strikers? that would be fun to watch Villa playing for the blues.

Getting david villa, is a great coup for NYCFC.
Great picture on the billboard of him.
With regards 'adidas' being their kit manufacturer,
I would well prefer 'adidas' over 'nike' for M.C.F.C.s official kit supplier.
