De Bruyne?

People keep talking about us not addressing weaknesses, even the best teams haven't addressed their weaknesses. Barca still have a weak back line, did they address it no..they spent on more midfielders even though they have a top midfield. You saw them get torn apart in preseason and they got torn apart by Bilbao. Barca will probably still win La Liga and go far in CL. You know why??? Because when you see their front 6 teams are worried about that, and forget that their back line is there for the taking.

Real Madrid are thin at ST, so much so, they are thinking about moving Ronaldo there. If rumors are to be believed Benzema might be at Arsenal or United this late in the window with no replacement in sight. Have they addressed this??? No, they added more to the MF and are looking to add De Gea even though they have 2 quality keepers. They are also a top squad who many will see as favorites for many trophies this season.

Munich have about as much depth as us but the drop in quality on the bench is what saw them drop many points toward the end of the season when their main players went down due to injury. Did they fill their squad for depth? No they went after Douglas Costa and want TO TRY and steal KDB from us to replace starters.

Even though we still led the league in goals there was a significant drop in goals scored. This is why we are and have added the best diverse attacking talent this window. To improve are chances of scoring in games. Sterling opens teams up, KDB has tools in his locker to break assist records, which means goals were scored. Add his 26 total assets to us last season and we might of won some trophies. With the front 6 we could possibly field, we can pose a similar fear to opposing teams that it hides some of the midfield issues that weren't quite addresses to some posters liking.

The goal is to add the best players to this club that the club has scouted for a long time, and maybe just maybe they have faith in the same players people think are weak.

I was of the opinion that up to a few days ago he may have not had the bollocks to say sod it,I`ve had enough and finally demand a move.It appears that he has said to Wolfs, enough is enough and I wish to move to Manchester.Well I hope thats the case.

That may very well be the case. Have no idea TBH.

Just in - can someone please enlighten me as to the new possible stumbling block. Thanks

As per, people reading a newspaper article, this time bild, and taking it as gospel.

Then the flapping commences, the negative twats come crawling from the fucking woodwork, everybody gets pissed off and the schoolyard antics begin.

Anyway. Apparently Wolfsburg want £58 million. This is what bild are reporting.

Personally, I smell bullshit.

I'll try to resist the urge to flap. Hope you're right.
Thanks

Sorry, The first half of your comment is bollocks. Barcelona's defence is fantastic, the names they have in there might not be the most exciting, but their defence is right up there. They conceded 10 goals in the entire champions league winning run - we conceded 8 in the groups alone to put that in perspective.

Not to mention they bought a right back this summer, so they did strengthen it.

Then you talk about Bayern not strengthening for depth. Depth is not their problem and never has been, their bench is fucking insane. A country mile better than us. The problem is injuries to key players. So they bought Douglas Costa who has been their best player so far and a complete revaluation, and replaced the perma-crocked Schweinsteiger with Vidal, who's only had 1 injury in his career. Strengthening their depth is exactly what they did.

Now for the second part, yes I agree completely.

People are whining about our left back position because Kolarov is seen as weak defensively, well we've kept 6 clean sheets in the last 8 games he's played in.

Our Centre backs were a mess and we bought one of the best in the world, and fixed the problem internally by getting Mangala and Kompany to play together.

And Sterling has added every single thing we lacked in attack. Pace, dribbling at players, and tireless energy.

Yaya suffered from fatigue, so we bought Delph to take over some of his running and to also give him a rest at the end of games so he only plays 75 mins instead of 90. Is he a direct replacements? No, because there isn't a single player in world football who can replace what Yaya does for us.

We didn't get enough goals from midfield so we are buying De Bruyne, who on top of being an assist machine, will chip in 10-15 a season as well.

If anyone thinks we haven't addressed our weaknesses then they are completely blind and not worth talking to.

Lastly, your last sentence is probably your best point. People are desperate to see Fernando go, and criticise the club for keeping him around. 2 month ago people would say the same about Mangala. We bought a fantastic defensive midfielder who had everything we need in midfield. He didn't just disappear, and Pellegrini and co obviously think he will come good and deliver on it. With all the good transfer business and beautiful football we are playing you'd think people would put some bloody faith in the management To know what they are doing.
