De Bruyne?

Is it just me but how are we going to sign 4 midfielders? Sterling delph pogba kdb.?

De Bruyne is an attacking midfielder and Sterling is a winger? And we had two outgoing midfielders in Milner and Lampard.

This is a much needed fix.

Lampard - English - No.18 >
Delph - English - No.18

Milner - English - No.7 >
Sterling - English - No.7
...
That's the like-for-likes done so now let's get the statement signings complete City. Kev and The Pog please!

I still think if that scenario happens, we're very short on strikers.

Aguero, Bony and Iheanacho are fine for a single striker formation. If Aguero and Bony were to get injured and we don't feel comfortable with Iheanacho (in a big game for example) then Sterling can also play striker.

Sergio, Bony and Iheanacho is more than enough, plus Sterling can play there if needed or even Silva as a false 9.

I like the Bayern model of two number 9's and a shed load of midfielders.

No top team in Europe bar City have had three or four number 9's in recent years, it isn't needed unless 4-4-2 is ever present.
