De Bruyne?

So how's this looking? Really excited to get this lad in. His assist stats were simply outstanding last season and I feel he'll have a point to prove in this league after Mourinho flogged him off

It will be an amazing summer to be sure, but 2010 saw Yaya, Silva, Dzeko, Kolarov, Milner, and Balotelli come in. With the benefit of hindsight, that would still be our best window for me. Five players that have been a huge part of our first team for the last five seasons will take some beating.

Yaya, Silva, Kolarov (and Boateng) were one window

Milner was following summer, Dzeko the January one after that and Mario (with Sergio) the following summer to that one

That's off the top of my head, but they certainly didn't all arrive the same window in 2010

I'd never recommend anyone betting on transfers. I lumped on Delph a couple of weeks ago when I was told it was a done deal, so was gutted when he did his initial u-turn. Obviously it all worked out well in the end, but it goes to show what a volatile market it is.

I never ever bet on transfers. It's essentially a volatile market where nobody can have enough information to analyse and real likelihoods.

It's a slot machine with six reels essentially, and I heavily advise people on here never to put money on transfers based on some info that some bloke on the Internet said.

Milner and Mario were in that summer window with Silva, Yaya, Kolarov and Boateng. Summer before the FA cup winning season/Bobby's first full season. Dzeko the January window, followed by Aguero, Clichy, Nasri, Pants and Savic in the summer preceding the title win and Pizarro in the January window.
