Valid points, but I'm not too sure they would value Robben and ribbery, they're getting up there in age and both very injury prone.As far as Bayern are concerned, he's not as good as either Robben or Ribery. He is better than Costa and Gotze. The rest of them he's not even competing with so they're all irrelevant.
At Bayern he'd likely be forced out wide like Gotze has been and he'd only play when one of Ribery or Robben were injured - which is a lot, but it's not a starting place.

Actually it's 40m euro for Javi Martinez, which is only about £28m.
At the time, the exchange rate was around 1.1 Euro/£ so around £35m is correct.

The red bull thing is something completely different. Those two clubs aren't in the same league just like Watford/Udinese/Granada and Us/Melbourne/NYCFC/Yokohama.
FIFA/UEFA need to really start investigating if VW is boosting Bayern at the expense of the club they actually own. But I wouldn't put it past those cheats at Munich. No one has bothered to look at their insane kit deal from their minority owner Adidas.
