Daily Mail: City will be cleared to open talks with Kevin De Bruyne (24) if they meet Wolfsburg's valuation of £45m~£50M.
Must be registered by Friday to play on Monday i thinkDoes our Monday game affect the cut off time?
Hopefully Luiz Gustavo not for sale because Wolfsburg are expecting De Bruyne to leave...

DiMarzio: Juventus have made inquiries over Luiz Gustavo to replace the injured Sami Khedira, but Wolfsburg aren't willing to sell. #WOB
I think he's talking about in terms of the player actually winning us points. Lampard's goals won us anywhere between 7-11 points last season (depending on how you view the games where he scored once we were already one ahead). Delph Is an upgrade in terms of overall quality, but he may not be able to have the same impact on the game in terms of us putting points on the board. Fairly reasonable to suggest that we could do with bringing in a central player to take some of goal scoring weight off Yaya's shoulders. What are you talking about? lampard's legs have gone. He got a few goals last season but most games passed him by. we did well to squeeze some contribution from him, but he's finished as a top level player. Delph is 25 and a very good midfielder and for that reason represents an enormous upgrade on Lampard. It's ridiculous to suggest anything else.

left midfield protecting kolorov or clichyDelph is capable of scoring. He was in a shit villa team and very rarely got the opportunity to attack, but when he does he has scored some fantastic goals.
I'm still not sure what role we are going to play him in, whether it's as some sort of very mobile screen across the back 4, or as a genuine Box to box.
Anyway Its not that simple. Fernandinho didn't score many goals in 13/14, but it was his arrival which gave yaya the freedom to play his best and score 20 goals.
Delph's arrival could do the same to Fernandinho - who is a very capable goal scorer but hasn't really shown it here yet. Delph will certainly take some defensive responsibility off ferna, which will let him get forwards more often.
Lastly, Sterling is going to take the goal scoring burden off Yaya as well. He'll chip in with at least 15, whereas Navas and Nasri combined for about 5 together last year.
Delph has scored 3 goals in 107 games for Villa and Dinho has averaged about 4.5 a season over the last 5 years. Yaya is 32 and his tally halved last season. I do think Toure will do better this season but I still think we need another option in there. Last season we had Lampard and we also had Milner as an option, if we ever needed it. I just think it's an area of the pitch that requires our attention slightly more than a wide forward. As is left back. We can't realistically go into a season playing 4-3-3 only having 4 top flight proven central midfielders - bearing in mind Fernando is one of them and doesn't appear to be so impressive.Delph is capable of scoring. ToureToure will score about as much as he did last season. 2 seasons ago was an aberration and not the norm. He generally scores between 6-12 goals a season. That should pretty much be the expectation. 20 was above and Beyond normal. Anyone expecting his goal tally to go up really is just being hopeful. The stats, his likely usage, and hus advanced age, all suggests something similar to last season or less. A return to 2 seasons ago is the least likely scenario. are you reading this txiki. If khedira is injured and we are in for pogba cant we part ex fernando make sense he might be good in a slower paced league.
Pass me what this guy is sipping on. True or not, I'm liking this flavor. It may be City now operate transfers differently to other teams. Operating low key, keep the press in the dark, let them blow smoke out their arses, we know we have this player and we have told said player respect our wishes, you are ours, don't tell the press fuck all. Operating in the shadows before the press know or predict what might happen. And then it happens.

Exactly, so we need to add to the midfield. If we play 4-3-3 we need 6 quality central midfielders to compete and rotate. Maybe we can get away with 5 but it's a risk.ToureToure will score about as much as he did last season. 2 seasons ago was an aberration and not the norm.
