Hi cleavers....not interested in how much we pay mate! It was just clear our first offer for Sterling was never going to be accepted and one of the ITK's on here commented that we didn't expect them to accept that first offer....Ric's post just made me think we might not see the "low offer"(opening bid) we saw for Sterling.....that's all I meant.....as long as we get him, I don't care if we spend 100mil on De Bruyne, as not my money...if he's the player we want, then that's good enough for me and doesn't matter what it takes to get him!;)

In all seriousness, if it is close then fuck me, we don't half work well in the background. Other than the drawn out nonsense with Sterling, no one has a fucking clue what we are up to.

That only felt like it was drawn out because the Dippers and their acolytes in the various branches of the media and elsewhere couldn't keep their fucking gobs shut. If they hadn't have said anything nobody would have known what the current situation was and it wouldn't have felt like a crisis.
In all our transfers, City have never said a word and if the selling club reciprocates then the first anyone hears is when both clubs make the official announcements are made when the transfer is complete.
