We don't need 5 to compete next year, 2 world class players would win us the league. Our squad is currently very good, unfortunately the majority are closer to 32 than 20.

However, we should be looking past just next season.

Signing players is a gamble.

We have managed to win two titles whilst gambling & also gone through a change of ceo, & director of football, whilst also bringing the academy online.

We are doing absolutely fine.
 
hasnt KDB said he wants to move however...if this is the case the club wont be able to hold onto him
 
Frenay advises De Bruyne along with De Koster. Frenay says he wants to stay with VFl Wolfsburg and that they are looking to extend his contract to 2020, with a fat pay-rise and an exit clause of between 50 and 70 million euros.

If that's the case I hope he signs and we get Isco instead.
 
It’s interesting that his agent and advisor keep speaking to the media about him being interested in signing on longer at Wolfsburg.
No one else think this is just a tactic to get a bigger wage out of City?
Every time KDB speaks to the media he keeps talking about a move and how he’s unsure what will happen.
I think his agent is just using some tricks to get the most money possible for him.

I don't think KDBs last set of comments were too well received by the fans or the club so this is just a diplomatic move on the part of his camp
