De Bruyne?

If it's a Mark Ogden story I'll reserve judgement. Vindictive rag who adores sticking the boot into City.

From the online edition it is an Ogden story and it's headlined "City baulk at £45m De Bruyne as Bayern loom"
There is also another Ogden story headlined "Blow for City as Guardiola vows to stay put"

Appears to be rag click bait at its finest.

Having met with him twice we are VERY interested. I think it would be fair to say that in the past we had principles etc and that lost us hazard and isco. Hopefully tixiki doesn't piss around this summer and gets the deals done quickly for players like this

This. Funny how we're always portrayed as being 'snubbed' by a player or 'baulking' at a transfer. Why the fuck would we baulk at anything with an owner with more cash than all other European owners combined? Fucking media hacks never get it through their thick, whiskey sizzled skulls that we can outbid any **** if we wish, and that we are not going away. It always seems to be the same rag gibbons who comment on the Telegraph/Guardian articles about City as well, they must be shitting it.

We could do with some pro-City journos though, the gullible Chelsea/rag-loving public lap up anti-City bullshit like chimps eating their own banana-flavoured puke. We need to turn the tide and wash the puke away.

Interesting.

This is one move I really think will happen this summer.

De Bruyne wanted by Man City, reveals agent

Kevin de Bruyne's agent Patrick de Koster says he has held discussions with Manchester City ahead of the summer transfer window.

De Bruyne has been in great form for Wolfsburg this season. The Belgium international has netted 10 league goals and tops the assist chart with 17 - seven more than second placed Zlatko Junuzovic - and has created a lot more chances than anyone else in the German top flight.

De Koster insists the 23-year-old is happy at Wolfsburg, but admits there is a huge amount of interest in him.

"I have met the people from Manchester City," he told The Guardian. "I’ve never spoken to anyone from Manchester United but a lot of other clubs have been in touch to find out some general information.

“I think with the season Kevin has had if we didn’t have these questions then there would be something wrong. I saw Mino Raiola’s quotes about taking 20 phone calls a day regarding Paul Pogba and it’s the same situation for me and probably for the agent of Memphis Depay at the moment.

“For the moment, there are no formal discussions. Of course in the next few weeks I will be going around the world to talk about the situation with Kevin but this is just informal information.

“I will talk to everybody but Kevin is very, very happy with Wolfsburg and the way they have treated him since he arrived from Chelsea last year. There are still five games to play and hopefully they can make sure of a place in the Champions League next season so it is a little bit too early to be making any decisions. He has a four-year contract at Wolfsburg so we will have to see what they want to do."

He also added his thoughts on the fee De Bruyne could command, saying: "I don’t know how much he would cost. Wolfsburg paid €24 million to Chelsea so I can see it being a lot more than that."

I think De Bruyne and Sterling are looking like they are going to be our main targets in attack, add in Lopes and I think we will have a trio of nice young attacking players that Aguero should enjoy playing with.

All three are very quick as well.
