August 14th would be better so that all signings are eligible for the Chelsea game.We got until the end of august to get things over the line.

Anyway, I'm still of the opinion that De Bruyne (if indeed we ever were interested in signing him) would have been a backup plan incase we didn't get Sterling.
We'll have enough to beat chelsea with the squad we have.August 14th would be better so that all signings are eligible for the Chelsea game.
Isn,t Delph the Fernando replacement?Hi 2sheikhs....I think it shows the lack of confidence we have in the current wide players.....I also think it shows that City feel players like Silva and Nasri are best used inside and not as wide men.....Sterling and De Bruyne give us the flexibility, pace and direct player we were crying out for all last season....I understand this move...what concerns me is why we havent been looking for a Fernando replacement.....we in trouble if we expecting him to start 20-30 games this season.....

Hi blueparrot...I agree, I was expecting that to be the case but get the feeling he's more of a Fernandinho type player that will push forward...I know we cant go off 18mins of a pre-season game but Pelle had him playing more outside.....think we still need a deep player that plays more of a defensive/holding role....just my opinion!;)
Yes,i'am laughing!People might laugh but I think fernando is made for that role I think if we play him at the bottom of a 3 we will see a very good player who's been played in his best position!
