De Bruyne?

I'll be watching him closely tonight. The last time KDB played in Cardiff.....

Not been that impressed with him tonight big game and all... Doesn't look an upgrade on Jovetic or Nasri. Doesn't take the game by the scruff of the neck a la Nasri - Seems like Silva is our key for next season too. Interesting though as Wales have a Prem standard defence and style. second half awaits

To be honest mate we shouldn't go anywhere near him. The prem defence must be shit anyway because the player of the year Hazard looks fucking shit so the rest must be miles worse
 
Honestly, whenever I watch him play I wonder how he has such good stats

Never strikes me as particularly talented player.
 
Not sure Wilmots is much of a manager tbh, he manages to make a lot of incredibly talented players look very average, while getting out managed by Chris Coleman...

Thought it again after watching Wales versus Belgium - DeBruyne is a clone of Milner.
 
Oh here we go... "one game" experts are out in force again...

That Pogba must be shit as well for not taking the game by the scruff of the neck and winning the CL for Juve... Oh and Ronaldo must be shit for not taking the game against Juve by the scruff of the neck and taking them to the final... oh and Silva must also be shit because of his dismal world cup performances.

Nail on the head there. People see what they want to see......watched Yaya have a cracking game once or thrice but the guy next to me slagged him off for 90 minutes.
 
Currently travelling and have bumped into many Germans along the way (they're everywhere!). Asked all of them about De Bruyne and they all say the same thing: "amazing player, but it might be difficult to buy him because Wolfsburg don't need the money."

£40m is the point at which not needing the money is overridden by "we'd like that money!"

But my point is that I trust the Germans' opinion a lot more (that he is "amazing", "awesome", "incredible" - take your pick), than the opinions of the one game wankers.

That and anyone that ever refers to money as if there is an award for football accounting.
