Yaya in a 2. Isn't that part of/is the problem? Which makes this signing even more baffling.

that deal was also incredibly complex based off the things that were reported at the time..Fuck me when has a £50m transfer ever been easy? Barcelona took 6 months to sign Neymar, you didn't hear their fans saying "he doesn't want to come! Call it off!". Give it time.
Last year he played in 2 with 2 up top, now there's Silva to play deeper.Yaya in a 2. Isn't that part of/is the problem? Which makes this signing even more baffling.
I really think evolving into a 4-2-3-1 will offer us more solidity and in fairness seems to be the default set up across Europe. One of the qualities Dzeko lacked was workrate of the ball, as highlighted by Muller after the Bayern game??, so the addition of that will improve this area. Similarly I think De Bruyne works a lot harder than Nasri and will offer us more protection on the left flank which is always an area of concern. The three I think we will have will be Fernandinho, Yaya and Silva, dropping in, when we do not have the ball.
A win against an under strength Barca and the mask starts slipping...He is World Class, just don't get worried if Manuel Engineer Pellegrini, plays him in a horribly unbalanced midfield.

Good in partsAnybody able to comment on his performance yesterday?
slow news day so if anyone interested....here's a link to De Bruyne's top 10 goals. I hadnt seen some of these goals before so just wanted to post if anyone interested.....I think given the chance, this guy will be great in the prem! Lets hope we get some news early next week...
It's like walking into a car showroom and wanting the nice car in the window. All the staff want to keep the car as they enjoy it being in work and they enjoy taking it out on test drives, and the car gets a nice safe dry place to be kept...if I don't put a bid in, everyone will still enjoy the car, if I put a bid in the staff may well think "yeah, can't turn that down"! You'd think it might just be worth a fucking go wouldn't you?!Would making a bid progress matters?
It would be a front four of Kun, Sterling, Silva and de Bruyne.Wow let's hope we can close a deal soon, front 3 of De Bruyne, Sterling and Aguero would be crazy
Sounds pretty decent doesn't it :-)It would be a front four of Kun, Sterling, Silva and de Bruyne.
Biggest myth at MCFC - Nasri doesn't work hard for the team. Not having a go at you, just can't believe how many fans (myself included) take this or have taken this to be true at some point.
Works a lot harder than meets the eye.
He's still a bit of a grump though!!
He's exactly what we need.Good player but not what we need to progress the team. Use the money to get Verratti, read a report a few weeks ago that said he is looking to leave PSG unbelievable player and exactly what we need. If Reus is available as is being reported then get him too and play a front 3 of Sterling,Aguero,Reus with a midfield 3 from Verratti,Silva,Dinho,Yaya,Delph.Obviously if the Pogba deal can be done then we get him too. Pace, power, assists, goals and work rate with the ability to play different formations with this line up. Also think the defence would benefit greatly from having Verratti sat in front of it.
He's too short for a box to box cmHe's exactly what we need.
