De Bruyne?

Do you know why I want this to happen ... so that all those whinging twats who have been giving Txiki so much grief, can apologise,if they have the balls.Never mind what happens to Pogba,as that one was always going to be difficult and it may not be over anyway.
I have plenty of dishes here that I can fill with Humble Pie for those guilty of rubbishing Txiki.
What a summer this has/will have been.

They'll still be complaining we haven't signed a left back or a midfielder (nevermind Delph and Zuculini)

Why do you give a shit what some people on the internet think of Txiki?

Yeah, we're sort of overly deep in a way at central midfield.

(And no to anyone curious that I'm against signing Pogba if that were to occur.)

I'll straight up say I have had a go at the man several times. Mostly when the Delph deal fell through and when we didn't approach Klopp and Ancelotti.

Can't be denied he has done remarkably well this summer, should we conclude the De Bruyne deal.

For the first time in ages it seems like the vision is easy for all to see. We've got rid of two strikers and bought in (potentially 2) world class wingers to make the transition to 433.

Added to the loss of some real dead weight like Dzeko and Jovetic, the promotion of the big 3 youth players.

It feels really tangible for the first time under Txiki's stewardship. I know people have had faith all along but I'm the type of guy who needs something tangible to go off rather than putting "blind" faith in someone.

Giving Pellegrini a contract is a masterstroke by the club. I thought we should have replaced him however this ensures the media can't harass him every week regarding his job. It's there in black and white.

This summer for me has been really professional, the best under the new regime by a long way.

Well played Phil and nice to see you have spunk and balls. ;)

Completely agree...

I prefer city to keep deals, bids etc. under the hood, much more professional and cleaner (unlike Liverpool usage of the media).

Patrick de Koster's (KDBs agent) quote referring to Txiki by name and stating he knows what its going to take to get this deal done, should be he best indication that WOB and KDB have set us a fixed number/target to get to...

All City fans should be over the moon because this Summer ha/will be superb. Our attacking football will be putting teams under serious pressure...

They are two positions of need so anyone who would like to see us strengthen those positions would be well within their rights to do so.

Typing on my phone so easier to just say I am in complete agreement with @bluephil8

Well played Txiki and I'm happy to scoff my humble pie (been a big critic of Txiki in the past. Erroneously it would now appear)

Thats the one thing that many Blue Mooners can`t understand though SS.The club are brilliant in keeping any deals under the radar and even the players agents in the main are keeping quiet, whilst we go about our business in a cloak and daggers scenario.
Too many think negatively just because things are taking time and the bits and pieces are now slotting nicely into place.

The new front 5 we have has to be the best in the league and matching Barca etc

Aguero - World Class undoubtedly
Silva - World Class "
Toure - World Class if he cares
Sterling - Potential to be World Class
De Bruyne - Very close to World Class

Who else can boast 5 of the best or upcoming best players in the world?
