Agree, just like going in a shop and asking about how much something costs but leave it, enquiry made but no bid for the item. Couple of days later, you want it, so you go back and after a bit of bartering you make a firm offer which if accepted allows you to get the goods. May be simplistic, but that is how I see how some transfers are done.
 
Have there been any comments / views released by those involved in the ''negotiations'' ?

Perhaps a voluntary NDA by both sides because of the anticipated problems to both sides has been agreed beforehand rather than making these problems subject to public scrutiny.

Again all this we might discuss prices but not make a bid balls. So Pogs and De Bruyne have both agreed to come but we are flirting with the clubs over a price. Early days maybe but not so much Pogba which appears dead De Bruyne was a main target named well before the season had finished. How we find ourselves in this position with the season started without a conclusion either way is beyond me. Yes deals may be complicated but 3 months worth of complications?

Bid, get it accepted, sign the fucker. Easy :)

Despite all the grief he/she gets - yes. I was speaking to a club official the other week & they are certainly pretty pissed off about the account & are equally in the dark about who it was, just the fact they raised it means they have access to some goings on.

Maybe we should tell KDB to stay at Wolfsburg and behave like a real c*nt. Play bad and spread bad mood. Then come back in January with a noble bid of 30Mio€ and take him.

Maybe they're just pissed off because some kfa teenager is using a Twitter account to spread malicious rumours about our most marketable player and people are giving the silly **** credence?
 
Vinny has put his opinion on our quest for De bruyne in the M.E.N. this morning I am sure as he plays for Belgium with DeBruyne the club have already told Vinnie to have a word as Joe did to Raheem

More than that, there was the inference in the conversation that they were trying to figure out who internally it was
