De Jong (Merged)

Re: De Jong last night..

yaya and dejong are goin gto be compared because effectively when only one plays, the other is being replaced by the other yes? different players, but glad dejongs back.

also the gig was bangin' to whoever asked, although i do not get how they getaway with charging £4.20 for a pint of JOHN SMITHS. disgraceful.

Re: De Jong last night..

De jong returning to his best makes things even harder now for team selection in the middle...

Re: De Jong last night..

I have just read the whole of tis thread. i find it difficult to believe the amount of negativity about a player who is as responsible as any for the success of our club. Is it that boo boys, now have to be a little careful, but are waiting to pounce if they get the slightest encouragement, doesnt fit into the team anymore , My arse.

Think Razak and Owen are our most balanced centre mids.

a fully fit, firing on all cylinders owen hargreaves ( if that ever occurs) would be easily our best defensive midfielder. think de jong adds so much to this team though. everyone talks about tevez last year, but without de jong, we'd have been truly up shit creek in many of the big games

unfortunately mate whilst we should (and most do) be enjoying enjoying and enjoying our success and great football, some sad fuckers just have to moan, moan, moan and they will ALWAYS find something - it really does my head in but we just have to rise above it. Anyone with a knowledge of football knows what an invaluable job NDJ does and there are loads of reasons why we need him - most importantly, Bobby knows we need him

Re: De Jong last night..

It just really grates with me. 2 years ago my seat was net to a guy, who hated Micah, every match, went on and on. Led to some heated words, and i actually changed my seat, wonder if he still sits there tryng to find fault. i suppose t takes all sorts, jus hate it when they are fellow blues,

Re: De Jong last night..

Boo boys? I doubt anyone on here has ever boo'd de Jong. Merely talking about his role in the team and whether he can fit in with our new look

Exactly. No one has questioned his commitment or indeed his actual performances, some are just questionning his role in the team with the change in approach. No one has really said he rubbish (sabster excluded).

Do you know what winds me up people like you 2 saying no one can criticise any fucking one because its so good. Im pretty sure we all fucking know its about as good as it could possibly get. That doesn't mean every single player is at the top of there game or fits in to the team. I only questioned this invaluable job he does that you mention because against the bigger teams Bobby hasn't deemed him invaluable, so either he is wrong or you are
Just because its so good doesn't mean we cant discuss tactics
