Again will no-one reply to this question:
Everyone is making the argument that De Jong is a guaranteed starter due to how much Mancini has selected him.
What about Barry then - he played more minutes than De Jong (at lest in the PL) - does that make him indispensable?

People are arguing that de Jong should be a guaranteed starter because he is one of the best holding midfielders in Europe

What stats has Opta-Sab been rolling out this time? He doesn't like de Jong. He doesn't like Messi. He likes Lassana Diarra because of his 'stats'. He works on stats and stats only. He does not take in to consideration anything that actually happens on the football pitch. Stats and stats only in Opta-Sab's world.

It does amuse me that people moan about negative tactics but ask them who their favourite player is and some will say De Jong, our most negative player.

look sabster i hate the negative tactics employed by mancini at times but de jong is absolutly vital to us and should always be in the side. we always need someone to get stuck in and brak up the opponants play, nige is that man.
