Would you rather play Kolo in a 3 man defense ? Well judging from our recent matches the 3-5-2 seems to be our formation for the season and when you play that formation you need 3 quality CB. Agger - Kompany -Lescott . Agger is a world class CB and he is definitely worth 25M.

£15million for Khedira, you must be joking. You'd have to near enough double that, he is one of the best young-ish midfielders in Europe and played over 40 games for Real last season.

With Modric coming in the competition would get higher and i see Modric edging out Khedira . Khedira is more suited for the PL (strength and work rate) while Modric is more technical and fits the Spanish football style better.

Even if Modric does edge out Khedira which isn't a given at all (who says he won't play Modric further up the field in rotation with Ozil for example?) that doesn't mean we could go and sign Khedira for only £15million right now even if he was available (which I highly doubt he is). Do you think they'd sell us Higuain for £15million because he isn't their first choice up front?

No they wouldn't . Higuain is their second choice plus there's no competition / better attacker . In the case of Khedira , i have to say you are right but i would love if we keep our eyes on what happens at RM from now till January. They can't guarantee Khedira / Modric the same play time hopefully Khedira falls out of favour with Mou.....I can't believe i'm wishing ill fortune upon Khedira .

I've been watching both of them play and LUCKILY for me i had the chance to watch both of them play again some days ago in the Belgium V Netherlands match . Dembele totally Owned Dejong PLUS Dejong gifted a goal to a belgian player Marteens . NDJ was a mess in the game we played on Sunday and that's not the first time . I'll say sell him to inter and bring in someone who brings more to the team , I'll even take Lassana over him .

A couple of others are arguable, the only cbs who are certainly better than agger are vidic, kompany, silva, puyol, chiellini, lucio, carvalho and pepe. Therefore he is around the top 10 cbs in the world, you obviously do not know your football.

Agger is better than skyrtal, there both similer defensive wise but agger is a better ball player. ask any liverpool fan and they will tell you that. Skyrtal and lescott are both class however maybe not world class and the reason why is even though they are as good at the main defensive duties, reading the game, tackling, marking etc, they are not good enough on the ball and thats why agger is better than them both.

Let me elaborate as to why I like him. The way De Rossi plays, I believe is not something you can get from someone much younger than he is. That is what makes him so special. He knows how to close down on defenders at the right angles. His awareness on the field is what makes him so good. His communication. All these things you cannot get from young kids. You have to play a lot of football before things slow down for you on the pitch and you are able to read the game like this guy does. And the way he plays he could play for 4 more years for sure. Kompany and him controlling the back half of the lineup you cannot put a price tag on.

Also, if the owners believe we will be fine spending £40m, they know what they are doing. They have my full trust.
