That is sound logic (no sarcasm there, for clarity). But the more time passes, the weaker it is.
Early in the summer, reports claimed City gave Bayern permission to speak to Sane.
So i'm sure there Was discussion, and Sane didnt rule a move out.
But clearly, he didnt go for it either, otherwise they'd be bidding incrementally day in day out till we accepted. Instead, they've been publicly claiming how good it would for him to want to go there, and if he did that they would agree a fee with city.
So, it is obvious, he isnt that decided on going there, eventhough he isnt signing a contract that commits him here beyond the two years left. Which is what bayern are looking to do, push him to it, or push our club into pushing him to it.
And that ends with either Sane asking to leave and bayern making an appropriare offer, or bayern making a 'can't refuse' offer that the club accepts, letting sane feel unwanted and accepting the move (which i cant see happening), or, quite simply, the time runs out this window. Which, with just over two weeks left for us to find a replacement should he leave, and no contact reported with any top forwards, is closer than it seems.
