Declan Rice

There are alternate points of view. Rice could go to Arsenal and instantly be part of the spine along with Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Saliba (all of which are under 24). Rice could come to Arsenal and instantly be part of the core as a place will be made for him in his preferred position. We are investing beyond Rice and keeping our players. Arteta is a young manager in the infancy of his Arsenal tenure and is likely to stay for a long time. If Rice joined Man City and signed a 5 year deal, who will be his manager in years 3-4-5? Pep is winding down at City and has likely signed his last contract. There is also a cloud that looms over Man City that could become a storm. Plus there is the London factor and home comfort.

Not every road points to Man City.
Just because he's from London doesn’t mean he wants to play for a club that wins nowt year and year out.

Glad you're confident Arteta will be there in 5 years' time - you'll all be booing and calling for his head if there is any run of bad results.
As for the 'cloud' - fucking wishful thinking on your part.

I think pretty much everything you’ve written there about City is incorrect.

Firstly, no-one knows whether Pep will sign another contract or not, there’s certainly no reasons why he wouldn’t do so. He’s always said he’s very happy here, and as long as he feels the board and players appreciate him he could stay even longer. As things stand that’s still the case.

Secondly, despite what Sky and the tabloids like to peddle, it’s closer to reality to say that we will expose these ‘charges’ for what they are; a desperate ploy by our red shirted rivals to try and harm us, with little evidence and no clear proof of any wrongdoing. I believe our chairman, Khaldoon when he says we will defeat this.

Having said all that, unfortunately I still think Rice will go to Arsenal because for some reason we seem to be rather complacent this transfer window, particularly regarding midfield. Would rather Arsenal than him going to those fucking cunts in Trafford though.

You should do a "churchillian" speech and BELIEVE like Robbie.
Every time, the whole league thinks there are "clouds above" city this team goes into Siege mentality.

we've missed out on major targets our first choice aka Sanchez, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Kane, lets players leave who didn't want to be here and still this team and club keeps winning.

I still think we'll beat arsenal to Rice. But if you some how manage to get him, that still won't guarantee you anything. The brilliance of pep will come up with a solution or an alternative and while he is still at City he is the biggest ace in our pocket.

:)

#Believe ;)

With the very greatest of respect, your insights into our club, our manager, our strategy etc are meaningless claptrap devised in your own head to make you sleep a little easier at night.

Stick to predicting the future of Arsenal would be my advice.
