Not a chance City have bid for Rice without getting the nod from him and/or his agent!

Any club could say that though, what's to say him/his agent haven't given the nod to 2 or 3 clubs?

But haaland is the focal point of the city project where as rice at city would just be another player. At arsenal he would be their main man, with a young team seemingly on the up and that could also appeal.

I’m sure at the end of the season when he’s won a couple of medals he won’t be arsed about not being the main man here
