However, if what TH says is correct, then Pep really doesn’t want him and we know that means he won’t get played. We may as well plan for being without him, we can’t and won’t play an individual who doesn’t fit, regardless of whether they are a good lad. Sounds harsh but these lads are well paid and the stakes are too high for passengers. No point in him having another season if he isn’t going to get on the pitch
Reckon West Ham see Kalvin as the best option available in the market for price, quality and premier league proven. Great thing about Phillips is that he knew his place but unfortunately it hasn’t worked, great opportunity for him to still play in Europe and get regular game time so he gets picked for England.Maybe send Phillips on loan with an option to buy. Win win for both , kalvin gets full season to impress , west ham get chance to sign him and if things don’t work out , he’s back at city.
