Why would Phillips know if City were talking to West Ham yesterday as TH states? But by showing an interest we are forcing the price up for the gooners- I read somewhere a few days ago that forcing them to pay over the odds was part of our strategy- a journalists view but it makes sense to me.
Does including Phillips in a deal give us the means to blow any arsenal bid out of the waterDon't doubt your info 100 per cent for a second, bud.
Things have moved very quickly in the last couple of days, however.
He has spoken to a couple of people and the landscape may well have changed.
City won't push him out the door, but he's also be informed that they will not stand in his way and he now has a couple of serious offers to digest.
Well aware what might be right on Monday could be entirely different by Tuesday.
No doubt he doesn't want to throw the towel in, but he's now mulling over some concrete stuff.
I don't think it's cut and dried he stays, even if it's not West Ham.
Yes long story supported sheff wed since a nipper don't follow as much now because of owner. Followed city years ago love the football, love pep greatest coach of all time and to see them shit on manu is heaven and of course the rest is great. Been to city lots of times, had friends in hospitality so got in free to lots of matches. Actually retired now and live on a narrowboat, cruising around but still follow citywe ? you're a sheff wed fan
If things have developed then completely fair enough mate- i appreciate these situations can change. He just seemed convinced he’d be staying next season.Don't doubt your info 100 per cent for a second, bud.

But the downside would be setting a higher bar in the market we still need to buy in. There is zero chance we share our negotiating strategy with a journalist to reveal to those who we will be negotiating with. Zero. We may have been interested in Rice but already walked away based on price or be be still in the mix but we would not be briefing journalists as both the selling club and the player will be clear about what’s on offer. But by showing an interest we are forcing the price up for the gooners- I read somewhere a few days ago that forcing them to pay over the odds was part of our strategy- a journalists view but it makes sense to me.
Fuck me Kalvin stop posting and enjoy your holiday mate.Believe what you want mate- not that arsed. What Kalvin told me he has literally said to the press on countless occasions in the last weeks !? Why on earth would I not share it when it’s literally public knowledge. Pep was a key factor in us signing Phillips- of course he rates him you pillock. He’s struggled in his first 12 months but has been a key figure behind the scenes for team morale and is actually well liked by all the players and Pep and his coaching team. We will see a different player next year.
West Ham getting a replacement AND 75m would probably be far more attractive than 100m cash.Does including Phillips in a deal give us the means to blow any arsenal bid out of the water
I.e £75m plus Phillips is a 100m plus deal
Tough for them to match
As I over shared.can i ask ,why have you altered your post ?
