Bit dissapointed really thought he was gonna have a big role for us this season. Hope we dont take the chelsea route and just end up having 30 odd playeers out on loan without giving them a chance.

Pissed its the french league as well the most mind numbingly boring football brand of football most teams play there.
 
It would have been best for him to go on loan if Otamendi hadn't signed anyways.
 
Makes sense. He was always the most likely out of himself and Demichelis to be out of the picture this season. He'll benefit greatly from a full season as a first choice at a club like Marseille, the French league is certainly a few steps up the ladder from the Scottish league. Hopefully he'll do well, and return next season at which stage Demichelis will have departed.
 
Stones not going Chelsea then maybe or Everton not interested? I'd like to see a few young players loaned out to premier league clubs just as it is the best measure for which we can judge. There is always a doubt when players go and shine in Holland or France.
