Know what I'd do? I got lambasted on here for suggesting it a few months back, but I'd drop Kane. Make him hungry to score, not to play sweeper.

I'd probably even think about a back three, with stones being that second midfielder alongside rice. Play Arnold right wingback, Gordon left. Have the ability to go wide or through the middle, and fcuk defending because it ain't happening this tournament.

We have seen a transformation in English club football since Pep came but English coaches still seem incapable of moving away from dinosaur football. Southgate is a laughing stock. Can you imagine the level of ego and the level of stupidity that you have to have to look at a player who has just won player of the year, football writers player of the year, a fourth straight pl title and scored 19 league goals playing as a number 10 a position he was put in by the greatest manager of all time and think to yourself nah im gonna play him in somewhere else.
