If pellegrini doesn't start vinny then he's turning as stubborn as Bobby Manc did and look how that turned out!! Fucking gutted Merlin, kun and Delph are injured as if we had been at full strength we would smash these bastards but I can only see a rag win at the swamp unfortunately!! Sorry boys but I don't think we have the firepower and guile to do these lot at the minute. Would settle for a point right now to be honest.

Its not an outlandish prediction. But they're really not playing that well, certainly not as well as when we played them last season. We have plenty of reasons to be confident about Sunday, the main one being that we are a better team.

Bookies don't make illogical odds, but they will reflect the weight of betting by United fans.

That's exactly the team I'd pick as well. If he picks that team we'll get at least a draw and probably edge a win. They are a good team, playing at home, nothing more, nothing less. They aren't Barcelona. The injuries we have are a pisser but we're still better than them.

I'm pretty sure Bony will start and I can't argue that. To drop him would destroy his confidence and we fucking need him at the moment.
Kompany is a tricky one, he is certainly without doubt worthy of his place, but I do see problems if we axe on of two very expensive seasoned internationals after winning 4 on the spin. I would certainly pick Vinne but can understand if we don't.

LVG should get Schweinsteiger to ram him like a pile-driver in training - then he won't have to drop him. Or better still, have him spend a few sessions training with City or in our pre-game warm-ups - I can guarantee you he will end up with a muscle or ligament injury.

Why bother with these sorts of posts? Derby day is horrible and the whole week build up to it makes me sick! Add to the fact we have no aguero,silva, clichy, Nasri or Delph and the manager seemingly fell out with our best defender and captain makes me certainly feel uneasy!
 
If Vinny doesn't play I will be very surprised.

If he doesn't play then Zaba has to because his leadership is vital in my opinion.

I would be happy with a point here because I just don't think we have the required fit players to play out all out attacking game.

I think Bony will play but I personally would play Sterling or De Bruyne up top as a false 9 with Yaya as a number ten and the two Ferns in midfield.
