if he has decided to go to Real, and they have paid £20M for him then we have done the right thing.
Lets face it, he isnt the best defensive midfielder in the world, or anywhere near it! £20M is far too much for him.
Better spent elsewhere....

Having said that, he is an improvement on what we have...swings and roundabouts.
