I am starting to think the opposite of have we signed him to who out of the above list haven't we signed already except for the loose ends. Seems to me only Cavani and everyone sayings thats nearly done. Maybe should just wait a week or so and wait for it all to unfold, this is not transfer windows of old seems all going to be done and dusted without the need for ITKs. (although very welcome IMO) Goal.com is where it is at. :-)

The problem for lescott is its a world cup year and he can't be sitting on the bench which is what he'd do for us unfortunately. I love lescott and he's taken the nastasic thing in stride but its best if he moves on

Was under the impression that we were going for that young Roma CB to be Kompany's understudy.

If he is the only CB we sign...i hope he is really good and a success. Because if Kompany or Nasty get injured....we really need a good defender who can step up. And this guy is free, 28 years old Argentinian with no caps. Unproven to say the least.

The rumours for Marquinhos were from the Mirror who had a similar list to Goal.com except instead of Novaretti they had the Brazilian instead. Then there are all the rumours about Pepe saying he was on Pellegrinis list. Thing is the Goal.com list stated we had different options now I don't know whether Novaretti is option A or option C. But if we are being quoted 20m for the other two and he is free and just as good (I have never seen or heard of him) and we need a few extra quid to seal the Cavani deal maybe he will be the one. I think "Lescott lucky to live" is a bit harsh mate, he may not have had the best game against Norwich but...
