they've got a vocal ultras support. It's only the matter of how much it would cost to reach Manchester. They'll bring few hundreds probably.

They brought 2 coach loads of Ultras to Tynecastle.. there was a fair bit bother before and after the game

It is time to look to the future. I believe Phil Foden should be starting at least as many matches as David Silva. It is no wonder Phil looked rusty against PNE as he isn't even getting game time with the u23's.

Which of Mahrez or Bernardo would play on the left? Thats probably the team I would go with but the issue of who deputises for Sterling while Sane is injured could be a problem

I don't see it as a big issue - i'd rotate them in the game to let them each have a go at both full backs. If I have to pick then Bernado on the left to start.

Ederson

Cancelo
Garcia
Otamendi
Mendy

Gundogan
Bernardo
Foden

Sterling
Aguero
Jesus

I wonder why so many posters have decided to give Sterling a rest?
Perhaps it’s more a case of trying to read Pep’s mind? Aguero and the two Silva’s didn’t start on Saturday so the expectation is that they will tomorrow. Mahrez is flying and Pep might want him to consolidate that form and confidence. Sterling played at Preston and Everton so is possibly the attacking player most due a rest.

Pep Guardiola on the Champions League: "I want to win this tournament but if I don’t, it won’t change my life. I won’t kill myself."

"Yesterday everyone was fit. I have training in a few minutes but as of yesterday, everybody is fit"

I messed my renewal up for the Cup Schemes so just bought online in Area 326, row E. Looks like it will be a good crowd judging by what was left....mostly 3rd tier.

Looking forward to this game. Last season, City got surprised by Lyon who were better than we expected, and their 4-0 win should set alarm bells ringing. You don't beat an Italian side 4-0 unless it's a total fluke or you've got something special.

It's about time we had a good visiting support at the Etihad. Last season I think the CL traveling support was low on numbers in the Group games.

Guardiola on @fernandinho: "He can play two games in a week if he's fit. When Stones is back we'll have more options, Last season he had some issues towards the end, but the previous season he played almost every three days"

"The young players can play. There are moments we can use them. No doubts about that. @bellis_taylor is good with the ball but likes to win the duels and fight for aerial balls and @ericgm3 is so clever"

Guardiola on @Mahrez22: "He is so important. He has been clinical. Defensively his commitment is higher than last season. Offensively every time he has the ball you have a feeling he is going to create something"

Guardiola on @bellis_taylor in the away end at Everton: "I saw the video. I was like that at Barcelona and I love that the young players have a real connection with the club. I love having players like him and @PhilFoden who have a connection to the fans"

Harwood-Bellis at Everton. (It's probably been posted before.)

I'd be tempted to play Garcia and Harwood-Bellis together and play Fern front of them although I think Pep will probably opt for experience in such an important game. If we can win this game, then qualification from the groups will be half done.

The media, for example G Nev during his Sky commentary on Saturday was saying that City would surely buy a central defender in January, but I don't want us to do that, and I am sure most blues wont want that either. Fingers crossed for Laporte to make a full recovery, and for Garcia and Harwood-Bellis to come through together this season.
