direct cup and you get first chance of tickets !!!

Great decision city,i have been to all the fa cup games but not on the cup scheme just incase something made it impossible for me to get to one of the games.
I should get a ticket as i have over 4000 points but not before someone who say has a 1000 points who will get better seats.
Guess being a season ticket holder for over 30 years years doesn't mean a lot.
Its not 31500 tickets going to season ticket holders anyway as the club have plenty to sort out before they go on sale ie hospitality, supporters clubs.

Its not true at all.....

itr backfired on all the regulars who didnt miss a game, but failed to sign up to the cup scheme.

what conclusion are you left with.....

all those that didnt bother where right, the club wont look after the mugs who decided to go to crap games against no mark teams.

So in the future why should i make the effort of changing my plans, finding the cash to go.

since i have exactly the same chance on my SC as the oes who stayed away. Id like to see the argument out against that.

I mostly agree with that. I do however have a few more points from attending those games and so will get to queue up a day earlier than I would've.

yeah, but in essence. The cup scheme has given certain fans a boost of around 5000 points.

hardly fair is it ?

whats the e-mail i write to ? is it supporter services. and if so what is it.

No It's not fair at all but it's a business and they are rewarding people who commit upfront....I'm only pissed off because it would've made no difference to be in the scheme financially...I just couldn't be arsed doing the forms...so in the end my choice of seats will suffer.

I have th points to get a ticket on day one and I also signed up to the cup
scheme.
However I fully agree that this is unfair.
The club should have made it clear from the start that people who signed up
would get a ticket if we got to the semi, at the start of the season.
The people at least had the choice and forewarning.

Just like it's "tough" for Citycard holder's who've been to every PL game this season, have say, 5k points, but couldn't afford a ST this season. Then see the argument for signing up for what is basically a Cup ST scheme getting first dig at cup tickets.

The "long term versus short term loyalty" argument will always be valid but i don't really see how anyone can be dead against this... most of the people on the cup scheme will qualify for a ticket from the criteria anyway.

Let's just hope that this "strict ticket criteria" means OSC's are frozen out of this, especially as you can order 6 tickets as long as three meet the highest criteria at the time. No excuses.

I'm in exactly the same boat Blue12 except I can't boast being a season ticket holder for that length of time though. It's a disgrace! I didn't even know about the cup scheme benefits at the start of the season; were they published to the full extent?

yeah, lets see. If we are good enough to get to the final, see how many will be complaining then.

Its kicking off now with 32k, wait until the final when their is only 25k and then people on 4000 points are getting shafted off first year card holders.

Its not fair and its not right, and is in no way the same as a SC holders right.

And i cant honestly understand how everyone is either happy, or to stupid to see what is really happening here.

So what they ate saying for the future is get a season card get on cup scheme don't go to any other games and you will get tickets for every cup match right to the final, don't waste money going to away games in the middle of December 8pm ko, sounds fair, not.

so say someone who signed up to the cup scheme last year, has say 1,300 points in all. then get's a ticket before someone on 4,000 points cause they signed up to the cup scheme?

never heard so much bollocks in all my life, it's funny cause it's that much a joke.

IF the cup scheme is introduced in the FA cup and IF we beat the scum, the backfire on city will be at an all time high, the scenes down the ground would be ugly.

I don't see why it's kicking off; if people have been "here there and everywhere", they'll have the points regardless of these stipulations.

If they don't have enough points; [people on here saying 2k, the website showing criteria past even ST holders], then they're not really in any position to be complaining as they can't have seen us play very often.

i`ve had enough of this fuckin club not looking after the fans,i think they may have to kiss my arse(& bollocks while they are down there) if they want me to renew my season card next year...I have been going to City for 30 years now and fucked off with being treated like shit by piss poor treatment to the fans...

Who cares what seat you sit in? Its not the fcking theatre.People will be stood up anyway whether others like it or not. Thats why taking any kid under 6 is a waste of time and a waste of money as they wont remember it at that age.
50% will be pissed and spend 90 minurtes abusing Utd in any way they can.

If you have enough points then you get one. Every season card holder will get one. There will be loads of cant be arsed fans from earlier rounds who guess what, wont be arsed for this either as its not a final its a semi final. We win fuck all for winning this game.

Club will get plenty of complaints and should we progress I doubt this will be in place for the final.

Rubbish... Most people who go to the games will easily have enough points.

What about someone who got made redundant last year, has 6k points, but due to timing could only get a Citycard this year... what's you're view on him?

Does this "ST should get priority" rule still stick then, or are you advocating a simple loyalty points free for all?

Not strictly true that though is it...I 'bothered' to go to all the cup games but did not join the scheme...I'll get a ticket but I'll have less choice and I saw as many games as Schemer's. In hindsight I should've joined the scheme but I did not know then I would be more 'loyal' by doing so...I went to all the games anyway and accrued Loyalty points but I am 'less' loyal according to this system. Shit Happens!

sign up to the cup scheme. Simple

has the penny not dropped yet ??? for anyone.

This isnt about rewarding any one!!!

lets put it this way, how many will sign up for this next year because of what has happened ??

Welcome to the future plan... we now in effect have the same scheme that we slate the rags for.

No cup scheme, well no ticket for the final no matter how many games you have been to, or how long you had your SC.

The sad thing is the im alright parade are happy because well "their all right" for now.

SWP : your either a wind up, or a fuck witt

so what if they have the amount points anyway?

it's still wrong.

so what happens now if all the best seats are taken by the cup scheme holders, and the people with points between 3-4,000 get stuck up in the gods>

is that fair? bullshit.

Didn't really answer my scenario... if you're going to be as picky as to say "my cup SF is ruined as i'm not in the right block" then that's your problem i'll let you deal with. There's no guarantee of you getting the ticket you want anyway, and, as usual the people going to all the games, will ,in the main, have signed up for this scheme anyway.

Or just do the maths.

36k ST holders - 32.5k tickets. - OAP's/Children/People who can't afford or don't fancy it for various reasons.

= anyone who's got a half decent record of attending the past few years 'should' easily get a ticket.

We'll see next season if we keep getting 'only' 25k for cup games and if the excuses of people who stay away begin to dry up when they know there's something at the end for it.

... or knowing us, we'll get a bunch of empty seats from people on the scheme who still cba turning up ;)
