well its not in anyway compareable to SC priority then is it ??

Agree with this now, and then give it how long until it becomes like United ????

You dont agree to pay upfront, and as the ticket office stress when you buy. You can opt out of certain games if you give them notice. Just admit you have no idea how the scheme works.

Well seeing as I am in all 3 I hope I know how it works - I can see from your replies that your not!
City take money out of my bank account for every home cup game regardless of me being on holiday, working or just fancying going to the pub to watch it. If I stop this like others have said they have done then I am no longer in the cup scheme !

Well considering my dad and brother are in it.... and delayed the payments many times.... id suggest that you are wrong.

He also phoned and explaind that he couldnt get back from work intime to get last nights game....... your never gonna guess what they did.

As an example, 4 of us will be getting tickets on Sunday, 3 of us in the cup scheme with over 5000 points anyway, and one over 3500.

You can't be buying for mates - The club has already stated 1 ticket per season card and only sc members on the scheme are getting priority - Anyone with 2,000 ponts or more will get a ticket.

I'm referring to this.

'Buying tickets for other supporters

We are aware that some groups of supporters with different numbers of loyalty points would like to purchase tickets together for this match. In an attempt to support this, groups of up to six supporters may purchase tickets as soon as 50% of the supporters have the requisite number of loyalty points, as long as all supporters have 3,000 points or more. Where one or more supporters have less than 3,000 points, those on higher points can wait until every member of the group qualifies or buy tickets separately.'

I have 5000+ points and im on the cup direct scheme. So again i have quite a few points like some of the others on the cup direct scheme.

My dad however has 4400 points and is not on the cup direct scheme but has been to every cup game with me. Asked him to sign up but forgot i think.

This means i will have to wait until Tuesday 29th March so we can sit together.

Can understand the club wanting to reward people for attending the cup games and also think they've done this to boost attendances in the cups next year. Cant say i really agree through!!

Think everyone with 2000 points should get one in the end.

Just my opinion really.

You need to read the details again, you and your dad can buy tickets together on your points levels straight away.

Thanks for that. Just read it again so looks like i can apply from Sunday 27th March

This takes the actual piss.

Ive got 4500 points and ill be ok anyway but the principle is a disgrace.

Ive had a season ticket for 13 consecutive years, but people who went to the fa cup games in one season get a higher priority?

I went to them all as well, but didnt join the scheme cos i couldnt be arsed.

I mean ok, reward those that went to all the cup games this season, but not the first priority ffs!

The club really are thick when it comes to stuff like this.

Personally I would have done something along the lines of:

ST with 6000 + Cup Scheme or Attended all Cup Games
ST with 6000 + Attended 80% or more Cup Games
ST with 6000 +
ST with 5000 + Cup Scheme or Attended all Cup Games
ST with 5000 + Attended 80% or more Cup Games
ST with 5000 +
ST with 4000 + Cup Scheme or Attended all Cup Games
ST with 4000 + Attended 80% or more Cup Games
ST with 4000 +
ST + Cup Scheme (irrelevant of points)
CityCard holder with 6000 + Attended 80% cup games
CityCard holder with 6000
ST with 3500 +
CityCard holder with 5000
ST with 3000 +
CityCard holder with 4000
ST with 2500 +

etc...

Or something like that, the system would need lots of planning, but you kind of get the idea of rewarding people who have been to all cup games even if their not on cup scheme, and then people who have been to a fair few cup games. And also not just letting anyone on the cup scheme immediately buy, but have the cup scheme reward work alongside the points system.

Would that be fair to my son who is 12 - Had SC for 4 years - Been to every Home cup game this season (All competitions) + Notts county away - Using that criteria he would not get a ticket and neither would i because i would have to wait (Even though i have 4000 points) so we could buy seats together ?

Wonder if someone in the know could clarify this. If you're in the cup scheme do you still qualify to buy a ticket for a season ticket holder who doesn't have the requisite loyalty points on the first day?

We are aware that some groups of supporters with different numbers of loyalty points would like to purchase tickets together for this match. Where one or more supporters have less than 3,000 points, those on higher points can wait until every member of the group qualifies or buy tickets separately.

Any one supporter can purchase up to six tickets, using valid, qualifying Seasoncards. To purchase tickets on behalf of other supporters, the buying supporter must be in possession of each of the respective cards at the time of booking and be prepared to answer a number of security questions relating to each of the card holders including date of birth, postcode and card num

So am I right in thinking, one season ticket holder on cup scheme can be theres and another on the first day as long as the other non cup scheme member as more than 3000????
