I questioned the benefit of being in the cup scheme, only getting 50 points extra, when 100 was given out for just for one game didn't seem right.
Good on the club for redressing that balance, it will have an impact on future sales and maybe better attendances at cup games. It’s a welcome acknowledgement for the commitment to attend the cup games, something that has created many topics on this year for the poor attendances!
I wonder if the club will do the same next year?

agree

I agree fans who have been to all the cup games should also be rewarded but once again, if you knew you were going to go to all the games why would you not join the scheme?

Because it just never crossed my mind.

To be honest I just thought I'll buy em online as and when they come up...which is what I did...just didn't see any need to join the scheme.

It's not about affecting people though, it's the principle of being classed as loyal as those who couldn't be arsed going to all of the games when we have bought the same tickets as those who are in the CDS.

Again put yourself in mine and a couple of thousand of others shoes for one minute, you didn't join the CDS but have gone to every cup game, where as i joined the CDS and went to every cup game.

Would you be agreeing with it then? Honest answer mate.

I agree fans who have been to all the cup games should also be rewarded but once again, if you knew you were going to go to all the games why would you not join the scheme?
But why would you join? the only reason was convenience, and even then south standers and those in closed stands still have to ring up or go to the office anyway.

For me, there was no advantage to be gained from joining the scheme

You must be deluded. This isn't rewarding loyalty. This is their sad little way of making sure everybody signs up to the cup direct scheme next year even when they can't afford to or have conflicting work commitments.

I've been to all FA cup this season, but once again this season have been shafted by a club that is really showing little of a shit it gives about fans.

^^This

I have been to all homes games of both competitions but don't want to sign up to the cup direct scheme as I still like to have a say in the matter. I have around 3500 points and have already decided to get my semi ticket through the OSC so I will get a semi final ticket, but this is a disgrace...

so you go to home games? any aways?

and you're moaning?

us ones who do the aways have no issues because we've been awarded with our loyalty

advice...

get off your backsides, follow the team to aways, then you might avoid the scramble for semi tickets

simple as

Nope you can get all three at 3,500 you can get up to six tickets as ong as 50% are in the current sales criteria.

No you won't...only applies to 3000 points and above.

The 3000 point thing is only for adults. An adult can buy a junior ticket once the points get to the adult's level.

I'm sorry but i don't beleive that mate.

Haha, so you're basically calling me a liar?

The way City have done tickets doesn't really benefit me in any way shape or form, and even then, i'd like to think i've got a bit more integrity than to take the attitude "as long as i'm ok, fuck everyone else" i've never been like that.

That is the same reason as me, plus at the Villa and Juventus games i was able to sit with 5 of my mates which i couldn't do if i was on the CDS. I just didn't see the need to join up.

agree

whereas i agree with the motives and the acknowledgement of the cup fans endevours the timing of this move is just wrong.

Exactly my point. They should have given more warning about the ability to buy SF tickets if you were on the scheme, for me there is no other reason to join

What about the bonus loyalty points? 50 for each scheme and an extra 25 if you joined all 3. Might not be a lot compared to 6000 points which is what some have but it's better than a kick in the teeth.
