direct cup and you get first chance of tickets !!!

How many Junior tickets are there in the 'limited' amount ?. Hopefully, they will still be going on the third day of sale ?. The lad has 3800 points so no problems I don't think if we had to wait but want to go in person and that means booking a morning off. Was going to use the group scheme as back up but now they say the minimum is 4.

I'm sorry but i don't beleive that mate.

Haha, so you're basically calling me a liar?

The way City have done tickets doesn't really benefit me in any way shape or form, and even then, i'd like to think i've got a bit more integrity than to take the attitude "as long as i'm ok, fuck everyone else" i've never been like that.

If you want to put it like that then yeah. I have not taken in account how many loyalty points you have. You may be saying you would be happy with that as it wouldn't make a difference to you anyway as you would be up the criteria ladder anyway so put it this way.

I have 2800ish points i can buy mine on Monday 4th April.
Someone else has 2000 points which means they can buy them on Thursday 7th April.

We have both gone to every cup game this season, yet he has joined the CDS.

He can now get tickets 9 days before me.

I mean come on, that isn't right.

To be honest I just thought I'll buy em online as and when they come up...which is what I did...just didn't see any need to join the scheme.

Exactly my point. They should have given more warning about the ability to buy SF tickets if you were on the scheme, for me there is no other reason to join

The main reason people joined the cup scheme was because they knew they'd be going to every game, no-one ever envisaged this scenario. City, as a business, appreciate the up front commitment to buying tickets, and as such have rewarded it.

I agree fans who have been to all the cup games should also be rewarded but once again, if you knew you were going to go to all the games why would you not join the scheme?
But why would you join? the only reason was convenience, and even then south standers and those in closed stands still have to ring up or go to the office anyway.

For me, there was no advantage to be gained from joining the scheme

Not even the 175 points they give you at the start of the season? figure is rough dont know exact.

I questioned the benefit of being in the cup scheme, only getting 50 points extra, when 100 was given out for just for one game didn't seem right.
Good on the club for redressing that balance, it will have an impact on future sales and maybe better attendances at cup games. It’s a welcome acknowledgement for the commitment to attend the cup games, something that has created many topics on this year for the poor attendances!
I wonder if the club will do the same next year?

agree

well thats fine and well for the people who didnt go.

but im not always in the position to buy tickets when they go on sale, bills and kids can make sure of that. But i have been to every game, sometimes had to buy my ticket on the day because ive not had the money for me and my son.

so why should i get knocked down the queue?

I have still been to every game, just didnt want to worry about them taking money that wasnt in my account.

At no point was this brought up until today, so didnt see the point in risking bank charges. I was going to go anyway, and being a SC holder can always get a seat.

So being told i would get an extra 50 points, just isnt going to make sense to most in my position. If told at the start, that it will guarantee you a semi/cup final ticket. Then im sure the take up would have reflected that.

To say ok mate, i know youve been every game, i know you have more points than some of these. But they told they us in advance they would go, so tough.

2720 points. Any chance that this will be enough for the final? I'm very confident about getting a semi final ticket, but with all the corporate, prawn sandwich group that get tickets for the final what are the chances do you think?

Note; just to avoid the sour bastards on here tonight, I'm a seasoncard holder, been to a few home cup ties this season and also a few aways. Cheers, blues.

The above is all hypothetical.

What about the bonus loyalty points? 50 for each scheme and an extra 25 if you joined all 3. Might not be a lot compared to 6000 points which is what some have but it's better than a kick in the teeth.
True, guess I just wasn't too bothered, plus the off-chance i couldn't make a game

Still, it's the timing of it which is my main issue, they should advise of new policies in advance

not a chance for the final mate, you only get 25k for the final. Their are about 6k in the cup scheme, and loads of people with decent points.

I'd explain again how i think this is exactly the same as the league scenario i keep posting, but you seem to refuse to believe it.

The upfront pledge has been rewarded, without affecting others that are at the bottom end of the ladder to Wembley.

You must be deluded. This isn't rewarding loyalty. This is their sad little way of making sure everybody signs up to the cup direct scheme next year even when they can't afford to or have conflicting work commitments.

I've been to all FA cup this season, but once again this season have been shafted by a club that is really showing little of a shit it gives about fans.

^^This

I have been to all homes games of both competitions but don't want to sign up to the cup direct scheme as I still like to have a say in the matter. I have around 3500 points and have already decided to get my semi ticket through the OSC so I will get a semi final ticket, but this is a disgrace...

Edit:
If city are reading this I would just like to add that I went on to the Kiev game on Thursday, arrived late as I had to drive from the wirral after work, parked somewhere different for the first time so i could get into the ground quickly and not miss too much of the game.....got back to my car to find my back window smashed, passenger side front window smashed and damage to the bodywork...£300 excess and fucking hassle all day sorting it out...

I'd just like to thank city for the final fucking insult..the coupe to grace if you will....

Hope you got home alright Blue...was parked behind you in the white van.,
