2720 points. Any chance that this will be enough for the final? I'm very confident about getting a semi final ticket, but with all the corporate, prawn sandwich group that get tickets for the final what are the chances do you think?

Note; just to avoid the sour bastards on here tonight, I'm a seasoncard holder, been to a few home cup ties this season and also a few aways. Cheers, blues.

The above is all hypothetical.
For the final I would say an outside chance, we get around 18k minus corps, ex-players, players, other staff, families of said players and staff etc.

Good look though

EDIT: sry 25K im thinking europa :S

1800 point sc and been to every cup game do you think i will get a ticket?

Please don't take the piss just let me know cheers.

touch + go mate.
To be honest, based on everything i have read + seen today on this forum + elsewhere I would say 60/40 against (but I hope for your sake that I am wrong)

I have made this point repeatedly on multiple threads, but I don't apologise for making it again:
the "optimists" seem to think that poor uptake from seasoncard holders in previous rounds is somehow a reliable indicator to demand for the biggest game in recent history i.e. tickets will go down to citycard holders.

the "pessimists" (including me) acknowledge that the "pooling system" for points for those with more than 3000 will lead to a significant increase in demand for tickets from this category. i.e. tickets will go down to seasoncard holders with between 1500-2000 points.

Update on this....

Sorry, I just noticed the "update" on the OS about clarifying the group purchase scheme.

The club has clarified that "group" purchases must all have tickets in the same area of COMS...which will result in less pooling of tickets / "opportunistic" use of the scheme.

I would now be 70/30 in favour that you get a ticket.

Thanks for the input, mate. I'll stay hopeful.

well thats fine and well for the people who didnt go.

but im not always in the position to buy tickets when they go on sale, bills and kids can make sure of that. But i have been to every game, sometimes had to buy my ticket on the day because ive not had the money for me and my son.

so why should i get knocked down the queue?

I have still been to every game, just didnt want to worry about them taking money that wasnt in my account.

At no point was this brought up until today, so didnt see the point in risking bank charges. I was going to go anyway, and being a SC holder can always get a seat.

So being told i would get an extra 50 points, just isnt going to make sense to most in my position. If told at the start, that it will guarantee you a semi/cup final ticket. Then im sure the take up would have reflected that.

To say ok mate, i know youve been every game, i know you have more points than some of these. But they told they us in advance they would go, so tough.

I actually agree to an extent, I joined the scheme because I wanted to go the cup games and made provision for them, it has cost me but I have had to cut back on other things, but I also wanted the extra points.
I do have an issue with all the tinkering that's been going on, it's really difficult to keep up with, and it does appear to be knee jerk, instead of carefully planned.
Someone else said loyalty for joining the scheme has been rewarded, without knowing about the SF tickets, and I think there is something to be said about that.

^^This

I have been to all homes games of both competitions but don't want to sign up to the cup direct scheme as I still like to have a say in the matter. I have around 3500 points and have already decided to get my semi ticket through the OSC so I will get a semi final ticket, but this is a disgrace...

Edit:
If city are reading this I would just like to add that I went on to the Kiev game on Thursday, arrived late as I had to drive from the wirral after work, parked somewhere different for the first time so i could get into the ground quickly and not miss too much of the game.....got back to my car to find my back window smashed, passenger side front window smashed and damage to the bodywork...£300 excess and fucking hassle all day sorting it out...

I'd just like to thank city for the final fucking insult..the coupe to grace if you will....

Hope you got home alright Blue...was parked behind you in the white van.,

Yeah I did mate, cheers. Been hassle sorting it though and feels a little bit of a slap in the face from the club to cap off a couple of shit days....I'm practically assured a ticket but just not happy with the way they have decided to do it.

I'm in the same boat...got the points but not in the scheme ..I've enough points to get a ticket...my lad too but he missed a cup game and his points are just under mine and technically next day's queue..Hoping they'll let me have his when i go for mine so we can sit together.Glad you got back safe...Bit windy was it ;)

What about the bonus loyalty points? 50 for each scheme and an extra 25 if you joined all 3. Might not be a lot compared to 6000 points which is what some have but it's better than a kick in the teeth.
True, guess I just wasn't too bothered, plus the off-chance i couldn't make a game

Still, it's the timing of it which is my main issue, they should advise of new policies in advance

I don't think there was any plan for this but the club have seen very poor attendances at cup matches and tried to change this. They tried to improve things by offering large loyalty point bonuses, it didn't work, so they've taken today's measure in an attempt to make more people sign up for next year's cup schemes.

Like Gstar said, this won't affect who gets tickets, it will just affect the order in which they get them.

From a business point of view this was a great move by the club, I'd expect more than twice as many people to sign up for the cup scheme next year and wouldn't be at all surprised if cup scheme membership has no bearing on ticket priority for any finals we may reach next season, I'd imagine there'd be too many people in the scheme next year, but City will have made an attempt to improve attendances.

How is it i can go online and within a few seconds bring up what cup games i have been to this season without any problems but the club clearly can't.
Because if they could they would realise that i have been to the same amount as everyone on the CDS and probably got a damn site more loyalty points than a lot of them.
I understand its difficult to please everybody but this is just unfair plain and simple.
Also it could have been avoided if they had stated when the CDS details were released that you would get priority for any semis or possible finals we play in,that way we all would know where we stand.

We could quite easily just do a separate loyalty system for each cup competition, like you have 6 FA Cup games so far;
Leicester home and away.
Notts home and away.
Villa at home.
Reading at home.

Would it not be easier for City to just say 'you get one point for each of these games attended', so someone who's attended all 6 has 6 loyalty points. Then when it comes round to the biggie's like United in a semi, those with 6 loyalty points get first option, then 5, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1, then anyone who fancies going, because I suspect it'd sell out before it got to 0 anyway.. and if it did there wouldn't be many.

Same with Europa, like I can't afford to go to Europa aways so I could handle being lower in my particular system, I attended all the home European games though so I'd be in with a shout because I bothered to attend. I went to every game in the FA Cup so I fully expect a semi-final ticket, regardless of my loyalty points.

I'm not saying this system would be perfect, simply suggesting maybe we could do it separately based on each cup competition..?
