He deffo favours the spanish speaking players over the English ones...

I think personally Milner has every right to be pissed off this season...

Even if Rodwell were 100% fit I doubt he'd get the pitch time he needs and should get

Joe Hart dropped some clangers earlier but he's still one of the best around and most of the names that are being banded about to replace him and not as good as him!!

Lescott can consider himself a little hard done...

Micah Richards - Never fit, so no problems there ....

Barry should never have been sent on loan on favour of keeping Garcia - that decision was absolute bollocks!!

In the end City will be the losers, because if we're not careful we'll end up in a right mess trying to hit the homegrown quota ....

He does have every right because he's better than Navas.

Joe Hart is shite.

Lescott can't really complain, he gets paid a lot of money for doing nothing for this club. He fucked up at the Nou Camp.

Barry shouldn't have been released, I'm with you on that.

Only Milner has any right to be a tad upset, Manager should definitely have played him more and there are many games a season that particularly fit his skill set, Rodwell isn't fit and the few times he's played hasn't shown any reason to convince the manager he should be trusted, Demi has shown he's quite a lot better in this system than Lescott, as for Barry, the decision was between Barry and Rodwell as the manager has said and they decided (wrongly it turns out) to go with Rodwell. Joe Hart and Hodgson should be thankful how the manager handled his situation, took him out of the firing line, refused to publicly attack him and brought him back when he was ready, the idea he will be replaced is purely rumours as of now

Joe Hart hasn't changed, he still makes serious mistakes and I would be surprised if he wasn't replaced this summer.

Barry wanted to stay but Pellegrini wrongly let him go.

He was recently quoted as saying “I told the manager at the time that I was confident and that he was making a wrong decision. “I still feel I can compete with the players at City. When somebody tells you they don’t think you’re good enough, that your face doesn’t fit, you don’t just roll over. I had a few conversations but the manager’s mind was made up. “I presume he had watched previous games and made his mind up on that. Any rejection hurts in life."

Joe Hart is shite - NO he's not shite, thats absolute bollocks

Lescott can't really complain, he gets paid a lot of money for doing nothing for this club. He fucked up at the Nou Camp - ehh clangers, you mean like the ones Demechelis kept making, except Pellgrini was prepared to keep faith in him, mistake after mistake after mistake ...

Barry shouldn't have been released, I'm with you on that.

Who would you replace Hart with ?

And who would you replace his replacement with when he drops a clanger ?

I'd buy Tim Krul.

If he drops a clanger I'd replace him with Joe Hart.

And if Joe Hart drops a clanger , I'd replace him with Tim Krul again.

Simples.

lol at this thread. we are MILES away from where we should be. we've had money long enough now to be much further up the football ladder than we are. I'd even say we are going backwards. the sad thing is its there for the taking, it was from the moment we won the league. We've managed to tread water since. evidence of this was scrimping over a few quid and so missing our targets in January.

cue the deluded.

Assuming we won our game in hand which I admit should never be considered as a given I would suggest we are 4 points away from where I would like us to be and perhaps should be.

We have made progress this year in a number of areas and while it might be not so important to some on this forum , Manure have gone backwards , Arsenal are about on a par with previous seasons and while Liverpool have had a good year so far they haven't had to compete in Europe's elite for sometime and will find it hard next year unless they field weakened teams for the group stage matches.

We saw what happened to their league campaigns when they played on Thursday's and I suggest it will similar when they play on Tuesday's and Wednesday's.

Chelsea will always be in the hunt under someone like Jose.

IMO the Barry decision was mostly due to FFP. He's on big wages and we are barely going to pass if we manage to pass even with his wages off the books. Everton tried to purchase him outright in january so they could also get Rodwell on loan. The only reason to do that would be so they can't play him vs us. So they can't think he's rubbish if they are that worried about him playing against us.

Its clear Pelle will under bigger pressure next year to deliver the title, and we cant say he wasnt undery any pressure to deliver it this season. Next season will be more like his Real Madrid season, where he had one season to win something big he didnt do that and got fired...
Not saying he will be fired here if he doesnt win the PL or gets very far in CL, but in terms of pressure on the manager it will be more similar to that season than this current one.

How he will deal with bigger pressure is another big factor in our next season. I think we can win the title next season as long as :

-we improve our injury situation, but it is certainly not down only to bad luck, we need to improve maybe trainings, fitness trainings, how players deal with injuries, especially when they come back from an injury, whats the cahnce they are out again in 1-2 weeks, thats not down to pure luck to me...

-Pelle will use his experience from this season in the league, he knows now what to expect vs lesser teams, he knows they are ready to play games like a cup final, and even if their players or squads are nowhere near close to ours they can offer a very tricky game and even beat us.

-also he has to improve in tactics, especially picking the best 11 from game to game, we cant always play similarly vs different kind of teams, I really didnt like we started the same fucking 11 vs United away few weeks ago and the same one vs Liverpool away , opponents were totally different, yet our starting team was the same, totally different jobs had to be done vs United and vs Pool, I simply didnt like it.

-getting the transfers right, it can help us a lot but also set us back if we fail to strengthen the squad where it really needs to improve.

-sort out the defence, and the defending of the team. These days even lesser teams can expect to score 1-2 goals against us easily and they know it and it gives them lot bigger confidence to them to get a result vs us...

Basically this, if we improve in these things, and he can spend another 60-80m on the squad, no reason (or no excuse) why he couldnt win the title. Apart from mabye one of the teams doing a 95-100 points season.
