So tell me kenzie115, how did you feel when leaving the SOL yesterday? How did you feel being surrounded by gloating locals walking back to the car, coach or train? How about when being stuck in traffic getting away from the ground and then on the three or four hour journey back?

woohoo! been to an away match have we? of course, travelling for three or four hours should guarantee a win for you, shouldn't it.
Been to lots of away games smartarse and no it doesn't guarantee a win. However the OP was reflecting his annoyance at another pathetic surrender to a poor side and I shared his annoyance.

well you sound like a kid who didn't get what he wanted for christmas. i agree with pellegrini; we've been the best side in all of our away games. villa was a completely freak result, cardiff was a headscratcher, and the chelsea loss was down to joe. i'd say it's entirely possible that we can win the next five away matches, playing in exactly the same way as we have been.

Well imho I believe that if we keep playing the way we are away from home we will win more than we lose just cut out the silly mistakes.
We're nearly a third of the way through the away fixtures and we still haven't cut out the silly mistakes, this is why some of us are worried. (And I'm actually an eternal optimist by comparison with a lot of City fans).

Why is it that people are quick to point out that we could have been 3-0 down against Chelsea in the first half but yet fail to point out that we could have been 3-0 up against Villa at HT or should have comfortably beat Sunderland yesterday. It honestly feels that some people actually want Pellegrini to fail.

The facts are that we have to many players who are not good enough for us. This is something Mancini recognised and if he would have stayed on as manager I reckon there would be 5/6 players who would have been out of the door. The thing that went against Mancini is the likes of Dzeko, Kolarov and Garcia etc were his signings. I actually worry for the likes of Milner, Hart, Lescott, Richards and Clichy because so far they have shown nothing to suggest that they can adapt to Pellegrini's style of football.

IMO it seems like Pellegrini got the job because of his track record in Europe and the way his team play football. From what I have read about Txiki and Soriano they want us to play a style of football similar to Pellers. At the end of the day we are more likely to get rid of the players who are holding us back than a manager who is trying to take us forward. Also to be fair to Txiki the players he has brought in all seem to suit Pellers style.

For what its worth we have a strong core who can adapt to Pellegrini's methods. Zab, Kompany, Fernandinho, Yaya, Silva, Negrado, Kun, Nasri, Navas and Jovetic (i'm judging Jove by his style). We don't need to sign 20+ million players, we just need back up who can suit our style.

People need to be careful what they wish for! For me there is only 1 game where we have played bad and deserved to lose and that was stoke which we drew we have deserved to win every other lge game I, d be more worried if we were getting out played by the opposition but we are not im sure these away results will change everyone just needs to get behind both the team and management!
Villa away ? Cardiff away ? Stoke away ? Sunderland away ?

Do you want him sacked then?

During the season? No. If that became a reality during the season it would mean we are in the shit and that is something I really don't want to contemplate. Plus it would mean F&T dropped a bollock and I have invested a fair bit of faith in them so again no.

At season end then yes. Pellers wasn't F&T's first choice and Pellers moving on in the summer is something I would be fine with if other and better options are available. I've said often enough I didn't want him employed in the first place and I have seen nothing this season to alter that view.

And unless we can identify and eradicate what is causing this poor run awy from home then we could lose all 5 games also!

It's not the problems that are killing us, it's the lack of solutions.

i don't think there IS a problem. apart from bad luck or plain misfortune. i remember a city side back in the eighties, i think, and we were around the bottom of the table, if not bottom. we had an awful side but, inexplicably, we went and won five matches on the trot. no reason for it. no logic. it was purely a sequence of results. we ended up getting relegated. i maintain that the way we are playing away from home is enough to win most games.

FWIW, it doesn't bother me who the manager is. All I ask is that the chosen manager manages properly, and the only evidence of this will be measured in the way of our trophy count. We are at a stage where we (and our owner) demand honours (five trophies in five years) and a bland top four finish with a run to the last eight in the Champions League may not be enough to satisfy.

Barry is totally out of his depth now. Way too slow. Kolo was also a squad player no more.
Sorry but that is rubbish, both may be slow, but have been almost ever present in teams that are above us so far this season. Barry (totally out of his depth) has missed one game, which Everton lost, to us. Kolo was brought in as nothing more than a squad player for Liverpool, yet they are above us too. Are you suggesting that we are better than both scouse teams in the league currently ? The table says otherwise.

Kolo Toure has barley played for Liverpool
9 out of 11 in the league and both cup games ?
