Draw a fucking line under Mancini

Absolutely. We have a new manager and I still think he'll be successful. If he isn't, we'll get a new manager and his name wont be Mancini.

Time for you lot to move on.

Oh and shame on the O.P. for calling our manger 'clueless' and 'useless'.
Why shame on him, have you thought that he may be right & you might be wrong.

That's right, some herbert on Bluemoon calls a vastly experienced manager 'clueless' and 'useless'. I know he would have been angry at the time but he clearly hasn't got a clue. Embarrassing.

I think if you asked any manager they would all say you leave Yaya on.

No matter how tired or clueless he can sometimes look he has the ability to turn a game on its head and just pull it out of the bag.

I honestly believe that is the reason he always plays. His sheer ability.

Which he showed absolutely none of for 90 mins + on sunday. How long do we live in hope.
Great player on his day, but i'm afraid there are too many like sunday. Usually away games too.

I'll wager you a beer we don't. And it'd be a beer I'd be more than happy to lose.

I know what you mean, but there's a load of bollocks in there as well.

You have to give credit were credit is due when you see how Mourinho has not lost a home game in 47 years, how Arsene Wenger can buy unheard of players like Henry and RVP and Bergkamp and Pires and make them world class. Or Klopp and what he's done with Dortmund. Heck even Brendan Rogers' job at Swansea is to be admired.

And then when you start mentioning that utter fuckwit Hughes and suggesting he's comparable to Mancini or Sven, my word you have lost the plot.

Don't get me started on Wenger. What about Bendtner, Gervinho, Chamakh and Jeffers? Any idiot can sign a 100 players and get some of them right. How many duff keepers has ferguson signed? As for Hughes what about Kompany, De Jong and Zabaleta? Klopp is doing well now but that's the funny thing, every year someone has to be near the top of the League and everyone gets giddy about how great a manager they are. Wenger for instance, last year crap this year hero. Same manager different assessment. Mourinho's done well but got the same treatment from Real Madrid that Pellegrini had. So they don't think he's brilliant do they? In fact Chelsea and Real Madrid help to prove my point, regardless of the manager they have always been reasonably successful. Di Matteo won the Champions League. Is he a great manager? I'll say it again, it's stability that matters.
Your post was reading okay, until that contradiction at the end.

Chelsea have stability in a different way. It can come from a core group of players as well as a manager.

For anyone that thinks it's all hugs and holisticness they didn't see what happened in the dressing room at Stamford bridge !
Would you care to share? Because we're not all of City's kit men, or coaches or management team so we will not have seen..
He told them off!!! and waved a finger

Agree, we have another clown in charge with a fancy foreign name. Why did he play Garcia? He is useless, why not Rodwell? Sunderland had one forward yet he changed like for like taking off Negredo for Dzecko and Richards for Zaba? Should have taken a defender off and kept Negredo on. Navas was great first 5 mins, then started going inside? Where is the coaching for the bleeding obvious? Peligrini also totally ballsed up against Bayern. They had 5 in midfield, and probably the best midfield in Europe, so he plays 4 in midfield and had Dzecko upfront who can't trap a bag of cement so nothing sticks. We got battered but wouldn't have if he would have used basic football common sense! Mancini wasn't any better, he made some ridiculous decisions and we got very lucky winning the league and the cup if we are honest. We need to find a manager who has common sense and knows the Premier League inside out. It's not rocket science. Finally who is that miserable looking git who sits next to Pelligrini? How the hell would he inspire anybody. Is is jobs for his mates yet again? How much do these clowns earn? Money for old rope.

W T F ?

Get fucked Rag. FWIW it's Dzeko ( no letter C ) and it's Pellegrini ( double 'L' and two letter E's and then two I's ).

This ... bye bye rag tw@t

Re: Clueless manager

I think we have more clueless fans than a clueless manager, fans who are always calling for a bunch of new signings window after window and their insatiable thirst to turning City into their very own FIFA career mode. Players who helped win us the title a few short years ago are now after thoughts all of a sudden and not good enough to put on our shirt. Chelsea and United both have players that have been in their squad for a while now and helped win trophies for their club that some fans here would turn their collective noses at. Fans who are eager to get rid of a manager 11 games in but can't name a better guy. Swansea is poor in the league but finding success in Europe but their manager is some how better than our own, if you think Southampton are going to gain a spot in champions league, I have a couple of bridges in Brooklyn to sell you, remember Everton and West Brom last season? Remember how West Brom held a high position in the table for a little while then finished mid table? That will be Southampton this season. Klopp seems un inspiring and can't hold on to his best players year after year.

Grass always seems greener, we moan and cry about our but players not having heart or not getting stuck in yet fans start threads like these and can't get behind their manager because it's been an early roller coaster. We were laughing at United earlier but it looks like they are stringing results together and are "title challengers" again. That's all it takes.
Like this past round, teams are going to drop points we just have to take advantage next time as well as continue to fight and move forward. Is our away form shocking? Yes stats show 4 points out of 18 look crazy but we haven't been beaten convincingly in any of them and our worst game was at home to the best in the world. We won't continue to be unlucky and hopefully soon we can field full strength. It's not impossible and currently Bayern are on a run of 37 unbeaten, Roma of all teams won 10 straight so we can put a string of wins together and be right at the top by Boxing Day.

And all this would never have happened if we had just kept Gareth Barry. Milner needs to start playing in the role Pellegrini seems fit for Garcia he is much better there than on the wing which has been proven the times he has played there this season

I've tried and tried ; but with the lack of punctuation in your post, I am lost. Sorry

This was the Spaniard's doing, in my opinion. It felt like a strange day before a ball was kicked in anger that day. And that "losing the dressing room" thing drives me up the wall. The players have a contract of employment with the club and are richly rewarded to wear the shirt with pride and give of their best whether Bobby was in charge or Satan himself.

That would be the case if he they thought like us - but to a lot of players it's their place of work they want to tbe happy who they work with and unfortunately at most clubs have the power to influence descisions above.

Personally I agree with you they should give 110% all the time for the money they get and if not the manager the supporters. I wonder how many of the players lost sleep when we were all drowning our sorrows

I think its fair to say some of the most successful managers were / are twats i do not believe that the most successful managers are successful because they are nice chaps and make everything nice and fluffy for their darling players

Ferguson, Mouriniho and many more were are are ruthless bastards and its their way or the highway

This is exactly right.

If I'm honest I think most managers are average. I know that sounds obvious but if the managers of the top of the league swapped with the bottom of the league I don't think we would see a change. They are paid money for old rope. I just don't rate most of them at all. Even someone like the lauded Ferguson is barely better than average, in our title winning season Fergie cocked up twice in the games against City. Guadiola has managed Barcelona and Bayern Munich and been succesful but so would anyone else, would Guadiola keep Palace up this year? I've been supporting City since 1967 and in that time I cannot think of a single manager who has left us and moved on to better things. ( Just checked on Wiki and Ron Saunders ( who was a bit like Mancini ) left us and went on to win the League with Villa ). If you look at the Premier League the 3 clubs that have performed better than expected over the last 20 years or so have been United, Arsenal and Everton. All had long term managers who the players knew was the boss. i.e. if they f****d about they were out not the manager. That for me is the key. We forget how young most footballers are and they need strong leadership and a disciplined consistent environment. Pellegrini is 60 and quite frankly no better than Mancini, Hughes, Sven, Keegan etc. He's just the latest Zebedee on the Magic Roundabout.

Players like Henry and Bergkamp weren't unheard of before they joined Arsenal and did Wenger even buy Bergkamp, wasn't he a Rioch purchase?
