3-0.....3 fucking 0 yet some still fucking moan pmsl.

They had one clear chance all game and apart from that, we restricted them to shots from outside the box yet some claim we were crap defensively again.

What the fuck do you guys want?

We defended well against a very good footballing side that came and had a go.

err...in the first half we didn't...we could easily have been 2 or 3-1 down...we defended very poorly and could hardly get a kick.

2nd half we improved and put a few nice moves together and as Swansea tired we began to be able to exert some control, Nasri was the standout.

Far from convincing for a lot of the game and there's still a lot of work to do back there, but we won which is a relief more than anything.

I enjoyed his sensible substitutions in reaction to Dyer and Routledge coming on.

great attacking football yet again today

however the defensive side of our game has to improve and there are no signs of it.........too much space infront of our back four all the time and only poor finishing from Swansea today led to us not conceeding........at some point we are going to come unstuck against better opposition (arsenal players will revel in that amount of space in front of our back 4 as will Munichs and other teams in the champs league)

we are playing well but im still waiting to see what he does when confronted by a higher standard of opposition and also if our away form ccan improve.......but on the positive note at time our attacking play is as good as it was under RM during our title winning season

I see where you are coming from,but in my mind not conceeding means they did their job..

defensive performnces in the end will be judged by some people on the goals against tally (but this doesnt tell the full picture)

It is worrying, from a defensive point of view, the positions teams are getting themselves in against us time after time when in possession of the ball......if MP can sort this one aspect out we will be unstoppable but at the moment we are suseptable and that is something that COULD (not definitely) be our downfall.......all top managerswill look at how to continually improve their teams performances and this is the main way we can improve ours....the last couple of games in tthe seocond halves of matches (today and vs spurs we have seen glimpses of it and i hope it continues)

our defensive performance first half was poor...conceeding too many chances to an average team without their star striker...that isnt good enough....

and what are you talking about 4-1...we won 3-0 today!!!!??????!!!!!!!!!

No such thing as a perfect defensive performance..teams will always get chances..

Its easier to improve sommat when it goes wrong..

I see where you are coming from,but in my mind not conceeding means they did their job..

they partly did their job (espeically in the second half) but it also means that the swansea attackers on a number of occasions didnt do theirs...better opposition players will

There is a complete lack of appreciation sometimes in that we are playing against another team trying to do what we are.....win the game.

they are allowed g0od players, they are allowed to make good passes, they are allowed to have good movement and find space and they are allowed to shoot and score.

We do the above and we are fantastic yet if the opposition manage to do it, we are fucking crap defensively?

We stopped them from scoring, we played well defensively!
