Rest key players. Win the game.

Result.

We're not going to play our best every minute of every game and there is no ideal time to give them a break. So for this the ends justify the means.

Sorry but my only criticism is why didhe take Sergio off when it should have been Dzeko.Every single fan around me said the same!!!

Because he was resting him of course.

Sorry but you could clearly see in Sergios body language that he was not happy. Neither was I and we completely went to pot for 20 minutes when he went off.
Letting Dzeko lead the line is simply suicidal and another 10 mins last night and we could quite easily have drawn that game.
Why does Suarez not get taken off at Liverpool.
Or Shrek at the swamp
Or Giroud at the Tarquins.

Sorry,play your best team.
Giroud was rested last night!

And Liverpool have to play Suarez. They rely on SaS. They are SaS. City are better than that, but nevertheless we need to keep key players like Kompany, Silva and Aguero fit and on top form. Last season, Aguero's season was destroyed by injury, and he missed almost the entire pre-season with a knee injury but you want us to play him every minutes, every 3/4 days?

Codswallop. Absolute nonsense.

What's more, had he played on and gotten injured you'd no doubt be marding it up about what a terrible decision it was to leave him on the pitch.

Christ it's embarrassing the lengths you go to to try and wum others.

But in football you play for 90 plus injury time. I guess Manuel thought with 15 to go we'd be able to see the game out which we did.

Whats codswallop and whos wumming?..the fact that you were watching on tv and i was there seeing it with my own eyes..Everyone in ears shot was not happy that Aguero was taken off..leaving that donkey up top to try and hold the ball is simply suicidal and even pellegrini admitting to thinking it was won before it was.
If you are just gonna keep dissing me then thats fine but yoyr opinion isnt gospel..especially from your fucking armchair!!

Taking Aguero off was absolutely positively the correct decision by the manager.

Saying he was "not happy" at being subbed is the work of a serious mischief maker.
