Pellegrini is a biggest passenger in the club. He's just here hoping to win an easy title to add to his ugly CV. But this is the premier league, you don't get the title served up on a plate. He made 5 fucking changes for this game ! fucking 5 changes! Do you have any idea how these changes disrupt the team !? Get him out !

3 of them were due to injury you lemonhead

You can't make more than 3 changes , otherwise you disrupt the team, he made more than 3 changes . Why the fuck was Negredo and Aguero playing ? Negredo has been shit for 3 months and Aguero is barely fit ! Fucking hell !

As expected, knee jerk foamers by the bucketload.
Ya Ya injured, Silva injured, Navas injured, Aguero barely half fit, a struggle was inevitable before a ball had even been kicked tonight. But of course it's all Pellegrini's fault, cos he spent £100m on a miracle squad. So that's Negredo to replace Tevez, Jovetic, who's been injured all season, to replace Balotelli, and Ferna to replace Gaz Baz, which pretty much leaves Navas as the lone upgrade. Oh, and we've lost Kompany for 10 weeks, Jovetic for 20+ Weeks, Silva for 8 weeks, Aguero for 12 weeks, Nastasic for 16 weeks+, and Nasri for 6 weeks, and yet somehow this clueless clown has us on course to finish 3 or 4 points better off than we did last year in a far more competitive league.
I'm not gonna pretend a turd's a diamond, cos that was a truly minging performance tonight, the lack of pace and urgency that plagued us last season every bit as visible now as it was then. However, it's interesting to note that those squealing loudest about the manager not having a clue, are the same ones who routinely barrack him for picking Navas over Milner (the latter was truly truly shit tonight), and who are only just waking up to the realisation that DiMichelis does indeed suit our high defensive line better than Lescott after all. Losing the league tonight in that gutless fashion was painful, but I for one will judge Pellegrini once he's got the players he wanted in January - a top centre half, and an athletic midfield powerhouse (to which I'd add a wide midfielder with the pace and power to get past the fullback - and not cross the ball gormlessly into the legs of a defender standing 3 feet away from him, or chip it hopelessly out of play, all night long). If he tanks once he's got a squad to suit his MO then fair do's, bin him off. Until then though, stop throwing your toys out of your prams, eh?

Amid all the nonsense and immaturity...... that is a superb post and sums up our situation perfectly.Thank you.

The signs we have been on our last legs have been there for a while and i've posted numerous times about this mythical 'best squad' bollocks.
Unfortunately the season has caught up with us.

Fucking choker!

We are a not fucking Arsenal.

Unfortunately, we are under weak management.

Arsenal will end up 4th and win the FA cup, whilst we'll end up 3rd with the League Cup.

Very nice old man, but not a winner, too many basic basic mistakes. We would have lost the League Cup final was it not for two wonder strikes turning the game on its head, it wasn't anything tactical from the engineer.

Why drop Dzeko for two strikers out of sorts, Negredo is obviously lacking confidence and Aguero isn't fit and is way off the pace ?

The champions league maths cock up

At 2-2 at Anfield close the game out and take the point, it was all we needed. But no lets open up the game.

Losing leads at Cardiff and Villa, very poor

Got tactics wrong against both Barca and Bayern at home.

Wigan in the cup was a disgrace

So we have won some high scoring games and it was exciting but counts for little now, so we beat West Ham 9-0 over two legs in a semi.

We need a manager who has Manuels people skills and who the players want to play for but also a manager who actually understands the fucking game with a strong winning mentality.

He is a very nice loser , says nice things, never slates the ref, never slates opposition, shakes everyone's hand.

I don't want Mr Fucking Nice, I want Mr Fucking Winner managing my team

As in the megadeath song Mr Pellegrini.......

"NO MORE MR NICE GUY!".

That's an Alice Cooper song covered by Megadeth.

If you are going to slam the Manager, at least get your facts right.

For an attacking manager he hardly threw the kitchen sink at them did he?!

Shocking. Bottled another crucial game. Our reactions to losing games to our title rivals against relegation candidates have cost us 4 points in just the last 2.

We are Arsenal of 2006-2010!

We need to get some more that will then, regardless who the manager is.

Says it all , the players we have don't have the bottle when it really counts and tonight two of them we got over the summer where on display.

It's not much about the manager tonight , more about the mental state of the players.

Sorry, I thought the manager's job was to control and encourage his players, not sit passively on the bench and watch them being complacent.

if the players cannot motivate themselves in such a game as this on the pitch to give it their best shot then it wouldn't matter who was in charge tonight the result would have been the same.

This motivation has to come from within each player individually and collectively.

Leadership on the field amongst players and from our captain tonight was non existent.

He still is our best bet at the back when 100 per cent fit but to be honest Kompany isn't half the leader on the pitch that Terry and Gerrard are and they are well past their prime now but will be leading the sides that fight out the title this year.

I saw nothing but hanging of the head from VK when the first and second goals went in.

Pitiful performance from a side that has given up on this season that is for sure.

More dropped points to come but hopefully we can limp into third place and get automatic qualification.

And why is the mental state of the players like that ? Is it because the manager hasn't given them the right mentality ?

Players emulate their manager. Our manager is dull. Our players play in a dull way. Our manager shows no passion, our players show no passion. Simple as that.

Sorry, but some of these comments are hilarious. We've won against the scum 4:1, 6:0 against Spurs, 6:3 against Arsenal this season. A bad team performance tonight, that's all, Simple as that.

Take away the shanked Kompany clearance at Anfield and we'd probably have been writing tonight about what a good season's it's been. One (admittedly) awful result and objectivity goes totally out the window.

Sorry, mate. Shk. Mansoor didn't pump millions into the club so we can see average performance. We were playing bottom team at home! In such critical time, you'd expect the manager to be more focused no join the players in complacency.
Kompany's howler at liverpool was due to injury, why does pelle insist on hardcore training session hours before such a big game against liverpool. Pelle is NOT a winner, we don't want second or third place and if we do, we certainly don't want it this way, a draw at home to team with that is half injured.
