Anyone watching the Madrid derby right now can see how far we have to go - balls and desire wise anyway

Brilliant battle - no one bottling it, no nativity. A real tactical, professional contest.

For sure
Good Grief! Players were running back when they lost the ball and even when an attack broke down. Nobody was letting the opposition take it in turns to outnumber our midfield/defence on either side. That Athletico keeper was making vital saves. What's all that about? Spanish football absolutelly clueless! Thank Goodness Mr P has not allowed such nonsence this season

Mind you - The fans were also showing us How to create an atmosphere!

If Mansour has been watching the desire of the Atletico players tonight any doubts he has about retaining the services of our gormless manager should have dissipated.

I know we don't want to play like that but as an example of how to play against technically better players it was awesome. Well organised by the manager, endless covering of their teammates and endless chasing of lost causes. Brilliant.

Not renewing because of a bad run, good grief

Ducado, i know you're a moderator and all but why do you continually miss the point of virtually every post. Not content with that you continue to back up the biggest WUM on Blue Moon, Billy 'The Fish' Shears or whatever he calls himself these days.

He posts another load of tripe and yet you and Damocles spring to his defence. There's definitely no Cabal though, Yeah right.

Please ban me so I don't have to read this tripe.

One simple word = passion, on it and off it
Sadly this season the recent lack of it on the pitch has led to bewilderment off it
I can take a defeat, Christ I've seen plenty over the years - haven't we all, but the manner of the Burnley defeat and the one at the swamp has taken the piss
I hope to god we just scrape 4th

Simeone's 4-4-2 is masterful; compact, no stupidly high defensive line, and most importantly 4 midfield players willing to run.

Nasri and Yaya wouldn't last 5 minutes under Simeone.

If he's safe I don't think I'll renew. He really has done my head in this season.
* 4-4-2 regardless of the opposition.
* The 60 min sub.
* Continually pissing around with the defence.
* The high defensive line when we don't have the midfield to support it.
* Continually banging his head against the wall with the same formation & tactics.
* Continually picking players who let him down again and again.
* counter attacking that is so slow it is almost glacial.

Nope. I come a long way to watch City and I really haven't enjoyed many games this season. He is more to blame than the players.
I don't blame you .
I pay match by match and I have been to 20 City games this season .
And to be honest its done my head in has well .
He doesn't have a Scooby doo Manuel Pellergrini .
I`m also on that waiting list for season tickets next season .
If they asked if I want a season ticket now it would NO .

I'll still renew but I don't think I'll be organising everything around the fixtures like I have been.

I probably will renew too but at the moment the answer is no as I'm just at the end of my tether.
Supporting City makes you strong inside and it is certainly a life lesson that my grandchildren need to learn.

Imo his way of 442 is the only succesful way of 442 in modern football at the highest level.

Based on track back, team effort, hard work. Things you dont buy with money but get trough a good manager.

They'll learn that you can bail out when it's not quite right. End of your tether - get a grip. Grow a pair. And if you don't renew, great, it'll let someone buy your ticket who has a pair.

I doubt Silva would either though.
