Complaining about tiredness and the early kick off isn't a good sign. We had a fortnight to prepare for burnley for all the good that did us. He's way past the point of no return, It's over for manuel and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.
I personally think its those who are saying that "its over" and "he's past the point of no return", that are fooling themselves, I'll still be surprised if he's not here for the start of next season.
I sincerely hope not, for the most part this season has been a real disappointment with no sign of the count being able to do anything about it.

I guessed that, an awful lot of people (on here at least) have the same opinion, but its not based on anything other than opinion, and media shite. Those running the club have given no such indication at this point, and MP seems quite relaxed about it all, suggesting he already knows the decision.

Unless we collapse, I think a lot of people (on here at least) are going to be disappointed.

we were ignored when they sacked Bobby so no doubt we will be ignored again and they'll keep Pellegrini on sadly

I would hope they do ignore fans opinion, its the most ridiculous thing to act on, our club has a history of doing it, and its not a great history.

I hope they act in the best interests of the club, which indeed might be replacing Pellegrini this summer, but I seriously hope they don't take fan opinion into account. Personally I'm pretty indifferent either way, I just get the vibe that he'll finish his contract as expected.

we just watch them week in week out

we know nothing

City have been very poor on too many occasions with the players at disposal we have this season. The manager is tantamount to performances on the pitch, if he isn't why is he paid in the first place? This nonsense that the players are at fault bla bla bla is something Pearce originally espoused. Losers mentality. We need winners. Manager included.

He has suicide tactics that belong in the Alf Ramsey age, however we don't have any defensive midfield players on the books worthwhile, Fernandinho is box to box, so this could be his excuse to be kept on.

Hmm ... I don't want to sound unduly negative, but we have been collapsing. The trajectory, as we used to say, doesn't look good.

The great and good on the forum seem to think Pellegrini will be here next year. That's fine, I am sure they think they have some ITK inside track, but as far as I can see, no Board will make a decision on Pellegrini until the end of the year. It's pretty tiresome, though, hearing again and again that some fans will be disappointed because Pellegrini will be staying. It's like some sort of organised defense mechanism. If he stays, it's because he has met the Board's targets and that, I am pretty sure, would be good enough for the fans, except those that think the Board are idiots, and I don't want to speak for them.

As for me, I think it's no CL, no Pellegrini, because if we don't make CL this year, things won't be any easier next year.

In the grand scheme of things, we know very little I suspect. There will be a bigger picture that fans will be ignorant of and can only speculate on.
