Ah yes James Milner the guy pelligrini described as the best English player, who he gives 10/10 for in ability and attitude, so what does he do, put him on the bench and bring him on with a couple of minutes left, that or play him at full back,midfield,as a number 10 or wide all in one game

We were truly fuckin awful in 12/13 after our first title. We lost the title to a shit rags team ffs !

Do I want him back ? No ! But right now I've had enough of Pellegrini and his bollox selections. We did better with no strikers !

OK it's official..... we crudely dumped the best manager we have had since Joe Mercer and then downgraded to this unproven uninspiring geezer instead

Still at least a new world class manager will just slot in now without having to bother himself about making any changes because of the holistic vision of the barca boys and we will continue to play holistically like, errr, Barcelona

Neither are good enough to coach a team that wants to conquer the world. Mancini was good for the phase of the so-called 'project' we were at then (look at his performance since returning to Inter - unbelievably shit even after he got Podoslki and Shaqiri, big signings by Serie A standards, handed to him). Pellegrini was good for the 'gap year' after the dressing room disintegrated. Now we need a real champion who has stood on the highest podium. Or we can take yet another risk... if we're going to, at least find the best, most exciting young manager out there, whoever that is (Tuchel, De Boer, Cocu? idk).

Wouldn't have either of them tbh. We should aim for any top name available this summer. Someone who's won both domestically and on in europe.

Pellers has clearly lost the players and the dressing room. What is so clear is that the players do not believe in his tactics and having been found out, they go out as willing lambs to the slaughter. Palace were clearly going to stick everyone behind the ball, as most teams have done and rely on set pieces or a quick break. Despite knowing exactly what Palace were going to do, Pellers starts 4-4-2. Totally and utterly insane. It was going to be impossible to thread the ball through a 9/10 man defence, so it should have been 5 across the midfield and sergio up front.

Pellers has no ideas, no vision and no plan. He clearly has no ability to change and more importantly, clearly does not think he needs to change.

City are a 3 Michelin Star Restaurant (the owner) with a head chef who should be cooking at Nandos. City have fantastic, proven players and Pellers does not know how to handle them. He does not know how to motivate them, has no level relationship with them and they clearly do not trust him.

This charming man should do the decent thing and resign. And his miserable morgue faced assistant is in desperate need of fucking smile...........

Couldn't agree more. The stats tell the full story. We dominated every one of them apart from the only one that mattered,

The truth is that this season we look like a group of talented players, thrown together and given a football and told to go and work it out, The players are good enough to keep the ball and thus have the lions share of possession, corners etc but against well organised teams we cant make our superior skills and stats count.

For people scratching their heads let me let you into a little secret. Teams win leagues not individuals, and teams are created on the training ground by the manager. Teams play in certain ways that maximise the opportunity at that particular time/situation and minimise the threat. This is done by group habit and not individual choice. Group habits are built, refined and ingrained on the training pitch by a manager with vision who knows what he is doing..

When Mancini took over he upset Tevez, Bellend and co because he made them train and practice without a football. He drilled it into the players where he expected them to be and what he expected them to do in given situations. These drills were designed to inflict the maximum damage on the opposition dependent of the oppositions strengths and weaknesses while minimising the oppositions potential to hurt us. Only when they understood this did he give the players a ball to play with.

This is nothing new or revolutionary but is an absolute per-requisite if you want to win the highest honors in the game.

What we are seeing from Pellegrini is absolutely not this. There is no game plan uniquely devised to maximise the tools/players at the managers disposal considering the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition. There is no preset, co-ordinated patterns of play to create maximum havoc in the opposition defence.

The very fact that despite the enormous size and strength of the team it takes us over 300 attempts before we score from a corner demonstrates as vividly as anything else that the manager has no plan beyond picking a different group of good players each game and asking them to go and do their best.

People say we have been found out and teams know how to play against us. The truth is the manager has been found out.
