We all know the Spanish chuckle brothers will be fighting tooth and nail to stop Pellegrini getting the sack as he was their man and they will look right cunts if he gets the sack. Just have to hope the owner has had enough and overrules them.

Of course he's not been sacked, it's not the anniversary of last years league win yet.

The club do have some tact with these matters.

Oh dear, this thread is about to explode. Ric is ringing all the mods and canceling all leave.
Well he can jolly well f*ck off, as I'm just packing for my holidays.

You can have my space (in the mod room, not on the plane, or the beach) if you wish.

A firm and absolute denial from City.

Wouldn't that be expected though?

I think he is gone next Monday if we get beat in the derby.

MEN and other media lads saying City are laughing it off

You would like to assume City would not need to lie if a sacking had taken place.

Chinese whispers no doubt helped by a guessing betting market?

It's also worth pointing out that City gave absolutely firm denials that Mancini and Hughes were sacked right up until they announced that they had sacked them.

Much of the resentment that we built up in the press was because we gave all these grandiose statements about Hughes and he was staying long term, and we were building something with him, right from the mouth of our top officials which the journos bought hook, line and sinker whilst we were in London talking to Mancini.

The only reason he could be sacked this week is if he has completely lost the dressing room, if he has done we could end up going on a downward spiral losing a lot of games and I don't think the club could afford to let Liverpool or Spurs have a chance of catching us in 4th, even if they are both 7 points behind.

I think a lot of players know they are out of the door come summer time so a lot won't care too much if we finished 5th and lost every game from now until the end of the season as well.

Huge rumours about our manager being sacked, reports that Nasri has thrown a tantrum a few weeks ago, while all the papers are saying how we'll be having a clear out of all our players. If I didn't know any better, I'd wager we have a derby coming up?

If I didn't know better, I would say they have been reading this thread ......

Lose against Utd and he's gone. Win against Utd and he will be gone at the end of the season.

Any reasoning behind this statement, ITK maybe?

No, thought not

Some on here getting all excited at the thought of a pending announcement.
Wishful thinking rather than firm insider knowledge me thinks

Only delaying the inevitable. Can we really afford to get any shitter at this point ? It's not like he's suddenly going to have an epiphany is it ..

Errrm, can you remember the FA Cup final in 2013?

To be fair to Nasri, I'd have a tantrum if the manager made me a scapegoat for our terrible form.

Funny that both City managers that Nasri has played under have called him out for this. More interesting that people are coming to the defence of him and claiming he's being made a scapegoat

Yep. Seems you don't though.

City were denying that Mancini was getting the right right up until the FA Cup Final. In fact the stated reason that they sacked him earlier was because somebody leaked it internally. He was sacked a couple of days later purely because the press had gotten a hold of the story despite City denying it constantly.

Agreed. Common denominator.

The entire nation of France seems to have scapegoated him as well. Obviously he isn't the problem, he is just incredibly unlucky that everyone else seems to not like him.
