The main reason for that is down to Pellegrini being a stubborn bastard. If he's actually going to start using tactics, like last night & at the swamp, it becomes a completely different matter.

Myself, I want a manager who will do that but also start making a serious effort to bring through young players. If Pellegrini will do that then fine. If he won't, I want someone else who will.

I wonder how intreseted Manuel would be in taking over at NYCFC

I think that as a fan base we will never fully appreciate Pellegrini until he has gone.

For all the talk about his stubbornness and being tactically inept at times, his record for us is fantastic and he plays exciting attacking football in the process.

1st and a league cup, 2nd, and now on course for more success. Combined with qualifying for the latter stages of CL in each of his seasons is not bad going at all.

Then consider he is bringing through exciting talent like Kelechi, what more could we ask for?

It's exciting times for us and at least we have not got to put up with the antics of Van Gaal or Mourinho.

That's some good PR there fella, you should be a journalist

I think Pellegrini is so underrated by fellow blues. I understand people had more of an affinity with Bobby Manc, with him guiding us to our first league title in 42 years, but Manuel is by all intensive purposes the better manager. The morale shot up significantly with his arrival and the style of football under him is better than it was with Roberto. I think people will miss him when he's gone.

Some people may have had an affinity with mancini, but there are plenty who don't.

I'm not sure Pellegrini could have done what he did, turning around the club's fortunes, & he'll always be a legend for that, but once he'd done it, I couldn't wait to see the back of him. He likes to take credit for building this team, but the great thing about last night was that there was only one of Mancini's signings in the team, & he was the worst player on the pitch. Plus only one on the bench. This was Pellegrini's creation, with no Mancini influence whatsoever & it's one of the club's best ever performances.

My thoughts exactly. He's doing a great job with the team. Love how he treats the media too. If he delivers trophy's again this season, like it is expected then I can't see why we would need to change. I suppose it hinges on how we do in the CL.

Kolarov may not have had his best game but he was on the pitch.

2 Mancini signings Kolorov and Yaya
