Discussion: Manuel Pellegrini 2015/16

He had 9 days to work on the defence and midfield and somehow we still managed to have gaps everywhere again.
He hasn't sorted it in 2.5 years, happily admits in press conferences that he isn't arsed about the defending so seriously, what the fuck made you think 9 days was going to make the slightest difference? Still, we are in four competitions so mustn't grumble, apparently.

Anyone else think we should go back to playing 4-4-2?

I think it's clear that Pellegrini has no idea how to manage a team in the 4-2-3-1 formation, that's why he took so long to make that switch in the first place.

Go 4-4-2 with De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Delph, Silva; Aguero, Bony and just go all out attack. We can't defend or play 4-2-3-1 under Pellegrini.

Leave the 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 until next summer when we bring in a manager who has a clue how to play it.
Play Sterling alongside Aguero much more mobility... but yeah agree with you

Last 13 league games:
Arsenal - 29 points
Us - 20 points

Manuel you fucking weapon, 19 goals conceded in that period!

Does he look at the replays of these games, because if he thinks yaya can defend.
He is having a laugh,

Who's going to take over for 5 months, Kidd? Pellegrini's not going until the end of the season and we all need to accept it.

This. As much as I want him to go you have to look at the bigger picture. No one's available to take over until summer and those who are would do a worse job than this guy.
