Discussion: Potential Pellegrini Replacements {merged}

Here are the other moves that are going to take place:
- Klopp is going to replace Bodger at the dippers.
- Zidane to replace Ancelotti at Real.
- Laurent Blanc Out at PSG Who to replace him?

Pellers has to go. His team selections and tactical uselessness have resulted in City being 4th in a 2 horse race.
Tactical cluelessness not seen since Hughes. To keep him will simply be a wasted season.

If we have to have someone then surely Ancelotti is the man? Failing that then Benitez is the man?
Of course we could give Boger a go? (irony)

So we can't get pep fall back is viera? This txixi guy doesn't fill me with confidence at all. If you are thinking vista might be up to it we should have got rid of pellers and see how the team responded to viera til the end of the season.

FORZA VIEIRA!!!!

I hope not,he is no way ready or experienced enough, that would worry me a lot

Everyone said that about Guardiola at Barca, Monk at Swansea as well.

I think Vieira will do a top job.

I think pep was a one off and no disrespect to swansea but that is not city level

I'm going to go ahead and say it -

If Guardiola isn't available, if we don't want Klopp (Pellegrini pretty much outsmarted him with Malaga anyway), if we don't want Ancelotti (I don't), then we really should stick with Pellegrini.

With the deadwood cleared out and fresh, hungry players in their place, I'd be happy for Pellegrini to be given another chance to replicate (or even surpass given he was using players primarily not bought for him) his first season in charge of us.

Didn't Dortmund go through? Pellers over ancelotti? Bizarre comments mate
Dortmund did go through but only with a far superior team and under freak circumstances with horrible refereeing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijHuwo3_xkc

Ancelotti is completely overrated, no trophy he's won has been done with an inferior team to those he was competing against.

I still think we need a manager who can move us up a level in Europe so that we're at least getting into the QF every year, so then we can utilise Pep fully cause in terms of how far we're going in the CL we're at the level of say Basel or Monaco atm. Of course he will improve us domestically but it's been proved that that's not enough with the sacking of Mancini. Possibly someone like Rafa next year then Pep the next would be good as Rafa would take us up a stage to give the team the mentality that they can do it, another season of failing in Europe (by our owners standards) wouldn't be good for the team, and then Pep could push us on even more to coming very close or winning the thing.

Saw the game tbf mate and I've questioned on here before why pellers put roque Santa Cruz on to try and see the game out! The ancelotti comment is weird. Generally the best team in a league wins and the best team is generally down to the managers tactics selections etc.

I disagree, Monk could quite easily have gone to Swansea and failed miserably but he didn't because he is another bright young manager, same with Tim Sherwood, even if he is quite hard to like.

I have seen enough from Vieira to see that he is going to be a top manager.

I wouldn't mind Benitez next season with Vieira as his assistant. If it is successful, then a further 3 year contract could be given, with Paddy taken over fully after that.

I just don't think we will get Pep.
